Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative

Hmmmmm...

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
STEALING SPOUSE

I am married to a very beautiful woman with an outward impeccable behaviour...People think I married an angel but I am married to a thief...I mean a thief!
I know my wife steals from me. I have watched my own money vanish in ways that no coincidence can explain and every disappearance feels like a slap I pretend not to feel.
I hide my wallet like a man living with danger, yet sleeping beside that danger every night and not knowing how to tackle the issue.....
When she walks past my drawer, my pulse jumps while i study her movements like a detective investigating the woman he loves. I have not confronted her, yet and it is maybe out of fear of what her answer will break inside me.

I am torn between asking her and risking the truth, or continuing this silent war of protecting my money from the one person who should never make me feel unsafe in my own house....
I don't even know why I am seeking what to do Online but maybe something someone will advice might help.
I confided in my sister and she says all women do it and I should just be leaving money as if its a normal thing and don't make a big deal if it vanishes... but guess what? I tried it and that one was left there while the one I hid went missing....
Am I married to an armed robbers child or is this spiritual problem? We don't have kids yet and I don't think I want children with her cos thief is in her blood.

LMAO @thief is in her blood...
Please first off eh, your sister should not generalise, not every woman steals from her husband.....I take my hubbys money and tell him, there is no stealing there....
I think asking her (Not confronting) be be good.....Ask her if she needs help...Ask her when she started it...You need to ask her before she graduates to stealing from people around or your friends....
I know someone whose wife was stealing large amounts of dollars from him.. he didn't know she was the one until she sacked her driver and he went to reveal to the man the magnificent estate she was erecting, the man was so shocked that he ended the marriage immediately when she said shew anted to surprise him...You cant steal someone money and wanna surprise them with it...
Please ask her about it,maybe she is also building  something...

  1. I don’t steal but I have a relative that must take something in my house anytime she comes. She came with her children this holiday and I had a nudge to check her bag a day before she left and I found my children clothes in her bag. I didn’t ask or confront her I just packed it

    1. Stealing is terrible, period. A woman who steals in their own home or a place she's known is a dangerous person. She didn't just steal, but have already broken trust and boundaries. If that behavior isn’t confronted, it can escalate. Just like the poster, theft in marriage is a betrayal and it should never be excused or hidden.

  3. Hello bro 🙏

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It’s really wrong on every level especially from someone you trusted as a wife.

    If I may ask 2 things first;

    1. Did she show signs of this during courtship? Sometimes the red flags are there but we overlook them, thinking "people change" or "it's nothing".

    2. Is she a full-time housewife, or does she work/run a business? That context matters too.

    Now for my honest advice.

Confront her directly. Don’t sugarcoat it. Tell her you know what she’s doing. Then be quiet and listen. Her reaction right there will tell you the kind of woman you married. If she admits it and apologizes, forgive her, but help her get real help. This is a trust and character issue. If she denies it, blames you and gets aggressive, Bro... that’s a problem. Stealing is a deal-breaker for a lot of people, and it shouldn’t be condoned.

Why you can’t ignore it. A woman who can confidently steal at home will one day take it outside. The humiliation and disgrace that will bring on you as the husband is not worth it. Don’t make excuses for her. Find out where the money is going. Ask her: “What are you doing with the money you’ve been taking?” You might be in for a shock depending on the amount. Hiding it only gives her room to continue.

You need to put your foot down now so it stops. Exposing it and setting boundaries is how you break the cycle. I’m with you on this. If you’re comfortable, please share roughly what amount we’re talking about, it helps to know the scale.

Stay strong bro. You deserve peace in your own home.

  4. Your sister too is a thief. What does she mean all women do it, cos I don't!!! Ask your wife about it.

  5. If you are 100 percent sure she is the one, please ask her; she needs help.

Why is she interested in the hidden money more than the one left in the open, or does she think the one hidden is not counted, or would you think she is not the one doing it?

Please confront her with evidence (set a hidden camera); she might be battling kleptomania.

  6. ...thief is in her blood... This statement got me laughing hard i am sorry 😄😄😄

Are you sure that she is the one taking it or your spirit wife took it? I have heard cases of people loosing their money and personal items this Ogbanje thing does not just happen to women, some men too experience it.

So you have to thread with caution when asking her.

  7. Dear Poster not all women steals from their Husband.

Secondly, you should open up to her to know if She needs Money for anything from you.

Thirdly, Tell her that you have been noticing the way she steals from you and that you don't want such occurence again.

Lastly, give her money to keep for you, and at random, requests for it.

If after all these and She doesn't change, the you have no option than to open up to her parent and send her packing.

    DOZZYBEST.

  8. Ur sister is wrong, i don’t steal from my husband, neither do i take and ‘tell him later’. If i want money i ask, if i need to borrow i ask and make sure i pay back. Integrity matters to some of us even in marriage, our word is our bond. Pls dnt ever raise ur daughter with the mindset that every woman steals.

Confront ur wife and discuss it with her. Line Eka Joy always says on this blog, how do you guys marry spouses that you can’t talk to? Pls tlk to her, if she needs help, help her. You would know ur next step from the outcome of ur discussion with her. Good luck

  9. Oga I can tell this is a big deal for you so I won't down play it.

Your best bet is to talk to her about it, tell her you know she takes money from your wallet or other place and you don't like it. she should ask you before taking money from you.pLease be gentle when talking to her ok.

Oga see I take my hubby's money o and he knows, if he ask me, I will tell him I took it. Period!!! See most wives collect money from their hubby and they know, just like your sis have told you

This is obviously an issue for you and you need to address it ASAP

If I tell you my own hubby's pet peeve you won't believe it, like this is something most couples glady and jokingly do together but I know he doesn't like it, he told me this from the onset, I respect that and I never do it, so you need to talk about this ok

    Good luck!!!

    2. You are sick for calling him that.
Speak ur nonsense igala and leave other languages alone especially when you don’t know how to form a correct sentence with it.

  14. Not every woman does that in their husbands house;point of correction please..

She is a thief, and if it’s okay with you to live with an Anini pro;it’s your choice.

So many business men live with such women who have the warped mindset that stealing from their husband is their birthright, sorry MarriageRight,so best option is just to stop bringing cash home to curtail the stealing if you are ok with living with such a person as a wife.

So here is the clue;If the money you make runs into millions daily, your account officer can arrange to get it collected from your office/business location either first thing early in the morning every day,or last thing before close of work daily(every bank needs your millions daily)..
That way you go home with no cash, just your atm card and just little change for one or two things(not much, and you can leave this in your car daily).

Alternatively you sort this out once;get an evidence to catch her in the act(spy cameras with videos like clock, phone charger,Pen,Sunglasses exist) then question her on why she steals instead of asking you when she needs something.

It doesn’t make sense to go through the stress of the world daily and then returning home to a bigger stress/nightmare;instead of peace.

  15. Poster, please calmly ask her as ma'am Stella said, dont confront her.

  16. She's your wife, you should communicate with her. You have to talk to her. Ask her questions, have a deep conversation with her.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Start carrying Monopoly money in your wallet if you can’t do anything else. I’m not sure why you’re afraid to address it and why your chronicle seems so dramatic. This is probably learned behaviour and something she saw her mother doing.

She is your wife now and if there is some habit in her that is distasteful then you must tell her. She carries your name and you do not know if she will bring disgrace to the household one day, so sit her bum down somewhere and bring it up.

    ReplyDelete
  18. You should confront her. For her to be looking for the money you hid instead of taking the one on top of the drawer, shows that she is really a thief

    ReplyDelete
  19. I've never stolen from my husband before. I sense this is a major deal breaker for you. Please ask her gently and let her know you can't tolerate it. If she continues, you may have to end the union.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Tell her your money has been missing. Don’t beat about the bush. I don’t know why some people play games with life.

If you live with someone else other than her, tell her you will put a camera because you can’t afford to have a thief in your house. Call a spade a spade. If you live with her alone, stop playing hid and seek game and tell her you are looking for money that you brought home and need to use it for something important and that you can’t find it. Watch her reaction not what she is saying. Your answer is in her body language.

She should be ashamed of stealing what belongs to her. Her husband money that she should be looking after is what she is stealing, Odiegwuooo!

  21. Why should you be afraid of your wife?
Na you marry her o, talk to her, and find out why she's doing that. Before she fall your hand for outside one day.

    Goodluck
