Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative...

Hmmmmmm....

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
ADVICE NEEDED

Dear Stella,
I was seeing a very wealthy man back in 2023, but he suddenly woke up one day and walked out of my life.
We reconnected two months ago, and since then he has been spending a lot of money on me. In just four weeks, he gave me what used to take me six months to earn in salary.

We used to chat constantly. Our arrangement is not a romantic relationship but a friends‑with‑benefits setup. However, I cannot lie, I have strong feelings for him. It may not be love, but I am deeply attached.

Recently, he stopped initiating conversations and now makes me feel like I must be the one to text him. For the past three weeks, I have been the one reaching out. Sometimes he responds warmly, other times he is cold.
This is where I am confused. Should I chase this man? He has indirectly made it clear that as long as I initiate chats, carry the conversation, and ask to meet up, I will still have access to him. But if I stop reaching out completely, I lose access to him entirely.
I have been unemployed for two years. I do not rely solely on a man for money because I run a small business that brings income every three months, but his return to my life has been a huge financial relief. Should I swallow my pride, dignity, and self‑respect just to keep pursuing him so I can remain in his life, or should I let him go?

P.S. I know his ex from seven years ago. She told me that after two years together, he stopped initiating contact with her completely. She had to be the one constantly reaching out and carrying the relationship for years, but she enjoyed significant financial benefits from him until they eventually went their separate ways.

The man has a problem ooooh...werey!
Please dont chase him at all, when he is tired, he will come back again.. Please invest your money and wait for him to come back...
Dont go to him out of longer throat oooooooooo

  1. You are attached to his money, nothing else.
Madam, just keep reaching out so you can get more money. While reaching out, i hope you put whatever you can get out of him to good use.
Mind you, he will not always be there and from how you described him, he can ghost you any moment.
At some point, all that money you crave for will not matter cos you would have drained yourself trying to reach out for his attention. Pele o.

  3. He is not your husband, not even your fiancé, he has made no promises to you and he gets bored of women after a while. Giving you the money is the easiest thing he can do and for him it is peanuts, so you are the one who is losing even though it looks like you are winning. If his presence helps you to survive one more day and ease your financial burdens then just be aware that your arrangement is 100% transactional. There is no love and he has already left the load on your back to carry. If you can carry your load then carry it but trust that one day you will get weary and chances are you will feel empty with a full bank account. That emptiness will feel ugly because you will realize that you were just a commodity that he can trade in for another.

It is up to you how you want to live in this life. End it for the sake of your mental health and self respect, you will say your bills are being paid. This could also be a spiritual test for you. If you were leaning on God for your survival and suddenly this man appears seeming to be the answer to all your earthly problems then you have failed the test. He is not your husband you should not be sleeping with him or taking his gifts. Your hope and trust should be 100% on your Creator believing on His promises and His Word. Doing what is right before God won’t let you feel bad or empty, so drop this man as he can drop you and face the one whose promises are sure and who gives eternal peace. Forget this situationship and trust God for His best. Pray for growth in your business, pray with belief.

  5. Don't chase him. You already know that if you stop initiating, the connection may disappear and that should tell you something important.

His financial support may be helpful, but don't trade your emotional peace for it. Give him space and see whether he reaches out on his own. If he doesn't, accept that for what it is and focus on rebuilding your own financial independence. You don't need to swallow your dignity; you simply need to stop forcing a connection that isn't being equally maintained.

  9. I was in this kind of situation for 16 good and roller coaster years. And i must tell you it's the most draining, confusing and self depreciating situation to be in.

I did everything to keep him interested but the interest will only last for a few weeks or months and he'd be gone again and i will start the chase until he has my time again. It continued like that, off and on for that 16 years when i finally told myself the uncomfortable truth. He was just playing with me. I was his play thing and each time he got bored with me, he'd toss me to the side and get on the next woman that gave him excitement.
Yes, he gave me money, he gave me treats but those things were no compensation for how low he made me feel. See, nothing compares to one's dignity. We all know that for a fact. No amount of money he is giving you now will make you feel good. You'd always feel empty and used because you are very much aware that he feels nothing for you. So i ask you, is it worth it?
The worst part is they always come back when it suits them because they know you are just a text message, a chat or a call away. They know you will always be there, waiting in the wings for them to as much as snap their fingers. I told myself I'm worth more than that. You should be worth more than that.
    Let go of him.

  11. Wawu! A classic reason why some men don't rate some of us. Imagine the shamelessness of presenting a transactional attachment as love. An admission suggesting that your emotional investment is proportional to the financial benefits you receive. Yet you expect this same man to take you seriously?

Darling Poster, this man appears to see you as an option he can access whenever it suits him. Why should anyone worry their head over an inconsequential, regular item they can easily get off the shelf at any time of the day when they walk into a mini-mart? As they say, money may be the cheapest thing a man who has enough to waste can give you, while reserving his time and genuine emotional investment for those who matter and add value to his life.

I appreciate your honesty about the financial relief this man has provided, especially after two years of unemployment. But the nostalgic pretence is what troubles me most. Your account raises serious questions about whether you are being honest with yourself about what you want and the humiliation you are willing to tolerate for financial benefit.

I am not trying to vilify you, but bad is bad. We cannot pretend that every arrangement is healthy simply because it offers financial relief. So, if you are pursuing this primarily for financial reasons, own it with your full chest. And stop disguising financial dependence as love while pretending it is something more genuine. When deep down, we know that the two are not the same thing.

Whatever you do, avoid building your financial future around money that can disappear without warning. Put whatever you have earned to productive use, strengthen your business, and pursue other stable sources of income with pride.

  12. You’re going out with a very wealthy married man what do you expect??? For him to be chasing you of course he can’t you’re the one that needs his money so keep initiating contacts and getting paid don’t you know there’s also an element of pride ??? Of course he doesn’t love you you’re just his sex play thing so if you need the money keep on initiating contacts otherwise back off!

  13. Some would always go back to any lady they left after they had spent years apart far away from them because during that time the ladies would have increased spiritually, done a lot of prayers and had their glory restored for renewal. Was that what played out in your case? Only God knows.

Go back to God he is a God of second chance and let him liberate you. Live within your means and be better. I pray you get a good job and also with that good job you learn contentment and have a personal relationship with God because even if he isn't married and a single guy, anyone who does Fwb is living an unholy life. You are not even supposed to allow any man who hasn't taken your hands to God at the altar to touch you because that's defilement. Your body is an altar where God resides and we know only pure holy things stay on, are allowed to touch an altar and only holy activities take place there.
