Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narrative...

Hmmmm.....

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE
MENTAL HEALTH SITUATION

Dear Blog Visitors…
I need advice today.
Two years ago,i married a woman who doesn’t trust me. I didn’t see it clearly at first or maybe I refused to see it. I kept telling myself that love would fix everything, and that patience would calm her fears, that marriage would finally give her the security she kept searching for when we were dating

But nothing changed.
If my phone rings, she wants to know who is calling. If I stepped outside, she wants to know where I was going. If I smiled at someone, she wants to know why. Every normal action becomes a question, and every question becomes suspicion, and every suspicion becomes an argument waiting to happen and when it happens, everyone  hears about how untrust worthy my wife finds me because she is very loud about not trusting me..........Really loud!

It is so emabarrassing that i am even beginning to suspect myself.
my man confidence is at a zero and nothing feels right being with her anymore..
I have tried to explain and reassure her and even proved my worth over and over again and as i am writing this now, i have nothing left to prove and 100 percent tired of being married
Now I wake up beside her, but feel alone...I am in a marriage where lack of trust has changed the taste of love and leaving is the only solution for my mental health
I used to think i was the problem and tried to fix myself but it suddenly hit me that she is the problem and needs to be alone to fix herself...She has been saying i will soon leave her for someone else, so i honestly dont even know how i will tell her that i need to be alone ...
People will be so disappointed in me if i leave but i am willing to risk that than go crazy and no one will know what caused it..

First off....Why dont you sent in a really badly worded Chronicle and it took me days to try and fill in some spaces what you might have meant.....work on your English please.
So now lets come to the situation at hand.....from the photgraph you included, her insecurity may be out of her physical appearance and yours....You are very good looking and she is the opposite...
I understand her from this and i also understand why you are broken and need to leave but i dont think you will go back to her if you leave,
why dont you have one last talk with her?
I dont know what else to say at this point.

  1. Per Stella’s comment about being privileged to see una picture, na complex dey worry your wife! You don’t have to keep proving your worth to someone who doesn’t trust you. If you’ve genuinely tried to communicate and reassure her, it’s understandable to need some space. However, before making a permanent decision, consider counseling and setting clear boundaries. Don’t stay solely because you’re afraid of disappointing other people, your well-being matters too.

Dear Poster, Your wife has trust issues, yes maybe because of how she looks, but it also maybe that she is traumatized about an event that happened. Or she Hass had many failed relationships that failed. So she projects what happened into this one.
She needs therapy. Again, I think you should temporary stay apart so she will know you are serious about your complaints.

Suggest therapy for her and if she cooperates fine. Otherwise it won't get better.

  3. Poster sorry that you are going through such an ordeal, even when you are innocent.
I suggest that you send the link to this your chronicle to your wife, so that she can read it and see how you really feel and how she is hurting you. It will also enable her hear what other people have to say about her behavior towards you.
Madam, in case you read this, I think you should calm down as your actions are causing more harm than good. It is well with your home.🙏

  4. My dear poster ,sometimes the deepest pain is sleeping beside the person you love and still feeling completely alone. 💔
Constant suspicion can slowly kill love, confidence and peace. Please sit down with your wife, speak from your heart and seek marriage counseling together. Her insecurity may need healing, but you cannot spend your entire life proving that you are innocent.
Pls pray, seek wise counsel, set healthy boundaries, and give healing a genuine chance.
Let all that you do be done in love.(1 Corinthians 16:14.) 🙏❤️ May God restore your marriage in Jesus name 🙏

  5. Poster you need a break and then figure things out. Your wife is bleeding from a past hurt and you cannot help her unless she decides for herself and seek Therapy.
You have not left yet so why are you assuming people will blame you? Until you leave you cannot even be sure of what others will say so your 1st point of call is to give yourself space for now.

  6. Have one last talk with her, just as Stella suggested.

  7. Check if there was something you did in the past when you are dating each other that broke her trust. Trust once broken is sometimes difficult to rebuild.

  8. From what Stella said, it means she is not that good looking and, she feels insecure about it because you look good .
Why don't you have a heart to heart talk with her. Give her a reassurance that you're going nowhere. You can ask her if you did not see all those other beautiful ladies before you settled with her, as long as she did not compel you to the marriage.
You can also ask her what it is that you are doing that makes her feel so insecure or what you can do to make her feel at ease
Also, tell her how her behavior is beginning to affect your mental health and wellness and also, making you feel lonely 🥺. I hope you both resolve this amicably

  9. Poster why dont you answer her when she asks. I know your type. No de whine yaself.

  10. She is insecure and also jealous. If she has a temper/anger issues this could become something more problematic. Please enter marriage counselling immediately. You do not have the capacity to fix her insecurities and jealousy, she needs professional intervention. And you need a space where you can speak freely and air your emotions out with a neutral third party.

  11. Why are you all giving excuses for bad behavior?? No one has a reason to have trust issues against someone who has proven several times to be trustworthy. He even married her with her looks yet she's making the man unhappy in his own home. Poster, your wife has mental health issues and is a narcissist who derives pleasure in controlling people. All the best with any decision you make cos you saw the red flags and still went ahead to marry her.

  12. Why you set marry ugly babe?? She go rub her insecurity on you soon and you'll begin to see yourself as ugly and un worthy like her

  13. You saw the Red Flag, Poster, you saw it perfectly well! The signs of a deeply insecure and untrusting partner are never quiet. You chose to ignore because sometimes at the intial stage, some people often confuse jealousy or possessiveness with "aww, he ir she must love me so much and can't do eithout me"

If you thought marriage would change her, you thought wrong, because a ring does not create security it only amplifies the exact foundation the relationship was built on.

I don't even think I am in the best position to give you advice, because I escaped being in your shoes. Any small thing I would hear,' I fear you would leave me for someone else, why are you talking quietly like you don't want people around where you are to know you are talking to your partner? Please, was i supposed to let random people hear my private conversations? Then the "I am scared you will find someone better" I got tired after countless reassurance and just hit the blocked button and moved on, luckily before it got to the marriage phase. This is one of the reasons I would advise not to date anyone who feels you are out of their league.

Stop trying to "fix" her. It is completely above your paygrade. No amount of passwords you share, locations you drop, or patience you show will ever fill a bottomless pit of insecurity.
Also, stop enabling her. Every time you bend over backward to accommodate her baseless suspicions, you are rewarding her paranoia. Set iron-clad boundaries immediately. Let her know that you will no longer tolerate being treated like a suspect in your own home.

She needs professional therapy to deal with whatever past trauma causing that, because she is destroying your marriage. If she refuses to get help and work on her own mind, you have to decide if you are willing to spend the next 40 years living in a maximum-security prison of her making.

But only do this if you know your hands are totally clean and you haven't done anything to make her treat you this way. Hope you never gave her a reason not to trust you during the dating phase snd you have never lied about your whereabouts one too many times? Because very often, a man will break a woman's trust while dating, and instead of doing the hard work to rebuild it, he just buys a wedding ring thinking it operates as an automatic reset button. So, If you caused the insecurity, then you are not a vitim but someone dealing with the consequences of your own actions, and your complaints are pure gaslighting! But go ahead and follow the advice if your conscience is clean and you suspect she is just making you pay the debt for a crime committed by a previous ex-boyfriend.

She is not looking for reassurance so stop wasting your time trying to give her that. what she is looking for total, unadulterated control over your autonomy. When someone is monitoring your phone, movements, and even your facial expressions (smiling) interrogating you constantly the way she does and you have no choice but to start policing your own behavior that's psychological panopticon due to emotional abuse and coercive control. Nip that in the bud fast!
To think She isn't even arguimg because she finds any evidence of cheating because you never said she caught you cheating once so that shows she argues because

    ReplyDelete
  14. the argument is the goal. The back and forth gives her a temporary release of her internal anxiety. She is using you as an emotional punching bag to regulate her own paranoia.

You also wrote that she is very loud about it and ensures everyone hears how untrustworthy you supposedly are. I think this is the most dangerous part of the entire confession! Because by broadcasting her baseless suspicions to the public, she is running a preemptive smear campaign. She is setting the stage so that if the marriage ever collapses, the public already views you as the villain. It is a manipulation tactic to isolate you and make you feel like nobody will ever believe him. She is actively destroying your reputation to feed her delusion!

You need to stop feeding the Interrogation because rvery time you answer her ridiculous queries, you are validating her delusion. Poster, stop explaining yourself. Don't waste time to address the disrespect Immediately. You need to look her in the eye and say to her your fears are your own, but the moment you disrespect me in public and tarnish my name, you are threatening this marriage." Also advice her to go for intense clinical therapy for her level of paranoia, or else, see you see severe anxiety, depression, and high blood pressure just trying to prove your innocence to someone who has already sentenced you in their head!

Since you need a short break tell her that you are feeling completely emotionally exhausted and your mental health is failing. In as much as you want you both to be happy, the current dynamic of constantly needing to prove yourself is breaking you down and you need a pause to breathe and find your peace again."

And when people ask you what happened, you should not counterattack but just give them a calm, boring, and dignified answer
Tell them you bothare going through a really tough season, and you are prioritizing your mental health atm. Tell them you wish her the best, but you need to step back for a while.
    Simple!
