Comedienne Dat Warri Girl Reveals What Some Rich Women Allegedly Do To Get Money

Nigerian media personality and comedian Tomama, popularly known as Dat Warri Girl, addressed the quick assumption that any woman with an unclear source of income must be involved in prostitution.

In a video she shared, she called out the stereotype directly, saying many people have no idea what some wealthy women are actually involved in.

She stated:
“Once some of you can’t figure out a woman’s source of income, you automatically assume she’s into prostitution. What many of you don’t know is that many women are into money laundering, fraud, drug trafficking, kidnapping, etc. Many big shops in Lekki are owned by women involved in some of these crimes and you won’t even know.
Women are committing better crimes and you people are reducing them to just prostitution.”

    2. She was absolutely right and have said that on this platform on numerous times. The figures of paying such ridiculous rent, and other overheads to main the stores for some of them on Awolowo road Ikoyi, Lekki Phase one and Allen and Opebi stores doesn’t add up. Those stores in most cases for some of them are just a coverup for their illicit activities. Period!

  10. Me, I knew this before anybody told me, you will see them opening big shops with outrageous rents, and no single customer walking in to patronize them, or few customers walking in and you will know that it's not adding up, even before era of selling online.
