Chief Priest had criticised the governor for spending almost three years in office without any major project being commissioned by President Bola Tinubu or visiting governors. He also claimed Ebonyi was falling behind other South East states in development.
Nwifuru responded sharply in a video shared online, saying:
“I don’t have time for Cubana Chief Priest. He is a noisemaker and a nobody. But if I remember him… I am sorry for him.”
His comments follow earlier criticism from House of Representatives member Chinedu Ogah, who said Chief Priest had no political relevance or electoral value to judge the governor’s performance. Ogah demanded an apology and even urged the EFCC to investigate the socialite.
The Ebonyi State Government has listed several projects it says it has completed or started across the 13 local government areas, including road dualisation in Abakaliki, rural concrete roads, bridges, primary healthcare centres and upgraded hospitals with equipment and ambulances.

ReplyDeleteIt just goes to show you how these ppl think about those who voted for them, calling a citizen a nobody is low down and nasty. It reeks of elitism and shows you do not give a rat's azz about voters. Imagine CCP that is a successful businessman being categorized as a nobody, how much more the water hawkers, akara seller, road cleaners, and domestic staff, market folks, I wonder what such ppl would be termed by this civil servant.
