In the school near me, there's a girl who is so disrespectful to everyone including her teachers.
ReplyDeleteShe's one of those teens who act like they're already in uni.
Last term she was chewing gum and and blowing bubbles in class during her last paper. The teacher told her to remove the gum and throw it out through the window but she continued doing her thing.
He got angry, walked up to her and gave her a stroke of the cane she now told him 'We shall see'.
Only for her to later report matters to the egbon in her area during the holidays. The egbon then arranged for some boys to waylay the teacher on his way one day. The boys were masked. They gathered and flogged the teacher wotoeoto.
In the middle of the beating, one of them now mistakenly said 'if you dey do any how with other girls, no carry that rubbish near Benita,'. (that's the girl's name).
On hearing her name, the teacher then understood where the beating came from.
He later informed the school authority and the principal advised him not to involve the police just yet
Aunty resumed last Monday and was feeling fly up and down.
The principal then summoned all students to the assembly ground. School gate was locked.
He now called Benita out. He also informed the entire school of what had happened, and how those men mentioned her name when beating her teacher.
She started apologizing but it fell on deaf ears. Each teacher in the school gave her 2 strokes of the cane. She nearly fainted.
When the matter got to her father, he came to the school and arrested almost every staff.

The school is so wrong , flog her 2 strokes each ke? What if she fainted or something worse happened? What happened to expelling the spoilt brat from school?
DeleteDuring our fggc days, if you had minor misdemeanors, you got productive punishment from the teacher (s), something more major, you got suspended for 2 weeks (the school bus goes to drop you in your parents house, so your parents know what you did in school), a very serious offense like getting a teacher beaten up gets you expelled straight up, no begging.
The father is kind of in the right to have them arrested, because did they report that child to her parents all this while? Were there warnings given prior? A o ni r'esu o, see the Delta state government worker that passed from being beaten up.
The girl needs to be taught a very heavy lesson, but not by reciprocating with beating (at least leave the beating to her parents)
