Eyewitnesses say the confrontation escalated quickly, and drew the attention of traders and passersby as the husband confronted both his wife and the man she was allegedly with.

ReplyDeleteWhile I agree with you, ZARAM, to an extent, I also think this kind of public explosion may well be the physical expression of resentment, suspicion or hurt that had been building for some time. People don’t usually get to the point of fighting two people in a shopping mall over absolutely nothing.
DeleteThat said, it is still avoidable and unnecessary. If a marriage has irreparably broken down and the commitment and vows can no longer be honoured, then separation or divorce is the easier and more sensible option. Why become violent towards another person simply because a relationship has gone sour?
