NDLEA Officer Drowns After Diving Into River In Pursuit Of Drug Suspects…
An officer of the NDLEA has drowned, while another is in critical condition, after both reportedly jumped into River Ethiope while chasing fleeing drug suspects in Obiaruku, Ukwuani LGA, Delta State.
The incident happened during a drug enforcement operation when a suspected offender allegedly dived into the river to escape. One officer drowned and his body was later recovered, while the second was rescued and taken to hospital.

May he soul rest in peace. They may have swimming skills but not just may not be as good as the suspect especially if he is from those riverine area. The suspect probably area know the water better than the deceased and his colleague. It may even shock you to know that the suspect may have also been making sacrifices to that water for protection. Feel free to ask those living in the creeks.
