NFF Appoints Former Super Eagles Head Coach Eguavoen As Interim Head Coach Of Super Falcons
On Tuesday September 8, 2026, The Nigeria Football Federation has appointed Augustine Eguavoen as interim head coach for the Super Falcons tasking him with the second round 2028 Olympic qualifiers against Comoros on October 9 and 13 at Remo Stars Stadium.
Augustine Eguavoen, the NFF Technical Director and former Super Eagles head coach with a 2006 Africa Cup of Nations bronze, will be assisted by Christopher Danjuma, Olatunji Baruwa, and ex-defender Ayisat Yusuf.
