Niger State Gov Bago Imposes 24-Hour Curfew Over Protests Following Deaths Of Illegal Miners In NSCDC Custody

Niger State Governor, Umar Bago, has imposed a 24-hour curfew in the state following protests and destruction of property over the deaths of suspected illegal miners in NSCDC custody.

Bago announced the curfew on Friday, saying it would take effect immediately after the Friday prayers.
He said government property, a bank, political party offices and private businesses were vandalised during the unrest.
He appealed to residents to remain calm and exercise restraint as authorities work to restore peace.

    1. The way this Nigeria is going....... Let politicians be careful o. There's hunger in the land. Make people no come protest turn Nigeria to Libya o or give them the China style. They should be wise this time

  2. From what I read online and the video I watched, one of the survivors said something was sprayed immediately after they were locked in. What could that be? At this point, I will just advise anyone not to let Nigeria kill you because nothing will come out of it.
