Peller’s One Million Naira Gift Causes Trouble For Groundnut Sellers As Agberos Demand Their Share

A mother and daughter who sell groundnuts are now afraid to return home after receiving a surprise one million naira gift from content creator Peller during his livestream on August 31, 2026.

They told Peller their business began with three thousand naira worth of groundnuts. When he asked how much she wanted for all the remaining stock so she could give it out for free, the mother said one million naira, and he sent the money immediately.
Their calm reaction surprised viewers, and Peller briefly considered reversing the transfer. The family later explained they were quiet because it was late at night and shouting would disturb neighbours in their storey building.

The next day, the daughter posted a video saying area boys had been patrolling their apartment, asking for her mother and demanding a share of the money. She said they acted strangely and even followed her.
According to her:
“We cannot sleep at home. Some area boys have been patrolling our house, demanding different amounts of their share. We are currently in church.”
The family is now staying away from home for safety.

  4. Everything for show and putting ppl's lives in danger. You want to help somebody, help them quietly, especially if they are humble ppl who need to move quietly in life. Must everything be broadcasted and made for content. Shit, if you need to make content then ask the ppl to dress in disguise or turn their backs to the camera, why put ppl's lives in jeopardy.

  5. This is the reason why some gifts should never be accepted.

The awareness generated by this giveaway might be this family greatest undoing.

    DOZZYBEST.
