He went to Church today Sunday October 18, 2026 and he was asked to move seats because of what he wore…
He wrote: "This has to be the biggest, rudest shock to me, not to talk of how embarrassing it was for me to do the walk of shame out of CELEBRATION CHURCH UTAKO, Abuja, this morning because I was asked to move seats based on a ‘reservation about how I was dressed.’
For context, how I am in this video is exactly to the T how I was dressed to church. I would like to think that the church is a place to come as you are, but this? Reservation about how I am dressed?
(To think that this is my first time attending CCI in Abuja, what a welcome!)
Please, how exactly was I dressed? Still very confused by it, but well, lesson learnt. Bro, I’m exhausted!"

ReplyDeleteI don't see anything wrong with his dress but guess the church has strict rules about male dressing.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your ordeal.
In the house of God,there's liberty. This man here wanted to create content and he got it.🙄🙄🙄
ReplyDeleteI think if the president invited him to aso rock he would have dressed better. So accord God the same courtesy. Yeah? I come in peace
ReplyDeleteYes, God sees our hearts, but we seriously need to change the way we dress to church.
ReplyDeleteNot bad my own opinion.
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be a concerted effort to rage bait the church. Let us say the truth, his outfit especially his top is not event appropriate...bare chest.... exposed arms and then raising holy hands to expose his armpits......Looks like men and competing with women for dressing that is considered offensive in church. If he was going to a party, a rave, some fashion show etc .... that fine and pls no one should come with the "come as you are" and "what would Jesus do " mantras.
ReplyDelete1 Corinthians 7:35 reminds us that our conduct should be appropriate and should promote undistracted devotion to the Lord.
ReplyDeleteSorry, Bro, but dressing appropriately for a public place of worship is also important,
While everyone has their personal style, our choice of clothing should reflect the reverence of the environment we are in.
Unfortunately,
an outfit that draws excessive attention may distract others and shift their focus away from the purpose of gathering in God's presence.
It's not necessarily about condemning your style, Brother, but about understanding that there is a time, place, and appropriate way to present ourselves.
Pẹ̀lẹ́, Brother mi, You are always welcome in GOD's Presence🏘️. 🙏❤️

Hello Iya Boys
I'm sorry you felt embarrassed but their church, their rule. I'm guessing the exposed arms and probably the lil bit of chest showing was a bit too much for them.
