    1. And for one unattractive man on top of it, unattractive both on the outside and inside. How much penicillin she had to swallow on top of swallowing her self-respect. She needs crown and trophy.

  2. Most Nigerian men’s definition of a peaceful wife!

Nigerian women, who do us this thing?

Even if you don’t want to fight, must you cook for them and even make them comfortable?

Look at what someone’s husband is saying publicly! Aren’t you even ashamed of saying this publicly? You know the kind of mumu you married sha, that’s why you have the audacity to say this publicly

    1. Nothing justifies his past escapades plus it's very cruel to keep your wife going through such all her life.
Now madam, why is it now a Nigerian men's thing?, who do you this thing, as men are doing dirty that's same way alot of women are doing their men dirty with DNA stunts plus sponsoring a lady and at the death she lives you for another man. It's a two ways thing but you are never tired of always going against men. A day with you go be hell on earth.

    3. If you ask 100 men to describe a wife, 90 of them will give the exact description of a maid, so there is that. Maybe something more insidious happened in that marriage in the early days which caused her to lose her self-respect. Cause it is one thing to cheat but to bring the women to the matrimonial home and sit and watch your wife cook and treat your concubines and be at peace with that. Talk about ultimate control and submission.

Like!!! No single respect for the wife. Bringing women into his matrimonial home and applauding his wife for cooking for them!! God forbid this type of slave trade marriage!!

This type of rubbish is what most Nigerian men describe as a submissive wife.

Thats the peace men of today crave for but the women of Now will rather walk away than being humiliated in this manner.

  7. These are your fathers in the industry. A Typical Nigerian man. Wife enduring rubbish and pretending to be happy. That was why most of them kept quiet during baba Ijesha’s saga. Why is he saying it out now? Instead of appreciating the woman at home- I didn’t listen anyway so may be he was advising the young women to be submissive

    1. The only time the wife finally gets a husband is when he gets old and nobody wants him anymore or if he is dealing with illness, then he will be home all the time. The wife is expected to be there for him then. The patriarchy has done a number on so many women. When he has poured out all his energy and money into concubines the dutiful wife is expected to minister and care for him until he passes. She having lived a life without love or respect, or even peace

  11. What did I just read? A 37 year marriage reduced to a joke. 😱 The sheer audacity of what I just read!

Yinka Quadri Sir, you sat down on a public podcast and proudly broadcasted your own lack of discipline for the whole world to see??? What you shared is not a badge of honor o; it is an embarrassing confession of disrespect.

The woman in question has really safad. The bar is in hell..No one deserves to go through that. No one should ever have to tolerate that level of disrespect. I would rather be single for life than endure even a fraction of that...What?????? The things people tolerate in the name of love or marriage is honestly terrifying. I can't fit..na by force to marry???

Bragging that you had affairs with actresses, let them sleep over at your house, and watched your wife cook for them is not a sign of a strong home. It is a sign of a man who took a good woman for granted.

Just because your wife chose to keep the peace and not publicly fight you or your side chicks does not mean she was happy about the mess you brought to her doorstep. You mistook her high character for your own cleverness.

If a woman chooses to endure your mess to preserve her family, you keep your mouth shut out of respect for her....you do not run to a podcast microphone to turn her pain into a storyline.
You should be thanking God and thanking her every single day for holding a home together while you ran around.

Her quietness is not an invitation for you to flex your infidelity on camera; it is dignity. She stayed graceful while you were being unfaithful. Turning her pain and high tolerance into a casual interview story is deeply embarrassing...not for her, but for you.

Instead of going on a podcast to boast about how many women you played under your wife's nose, you should be thanking God that she has more dignity in her little finger than you have in your entire career. Put some respect on her name, because her dignity was never an invitation for you to mock it.

And let’s talk about the ugly double standard in this industry: if a woman in Nollywood came out and proudly detailed how she brought different men to sleep over while her husband cooked for them and swallowed his pride, you people would drag her to the ends of the earth, call her a disgrace, and cancel her overnight. Yet a man does it, smiles into a microphone, and expects people to nod along like he just told a sweet family anecdote. It is gross, it is disrespectful, and boasting about it decades later is just sad.

  14. Muslim men dont have any regard for marriage or women. Thats why you see most of them do shit like this. Their religion makes them see women like tissue paper. Even if your man does not think like that, all his friends and family members do. Even all the sidechicks see no big deal because after all he can marry more. So marriage is nothjng. I dont advise my enemy to marry from that religion. My children will never try such. The biggest mistake i made o. Even when your husband is not all this, all his advisers see no problem in it. Let them marry themselves and keep damaging themselves and their children.

  16. May my generation never end up with rubbish all in the name of marriage

    ReplyDelete
  17. This is not new, all those old generations women did it without raising any fist, even though with pretence as if they were happy with it, if a woman wanted to reject the rubbish in the olden days, they would term it as jealousy and could even send her back to her father's house, instead of her family to support her, they would send her back to her husband's house saying it's a taboo for a married woman to leave her husband's house and return to her father's house, her father would even be using himself as a case study for African men, that they are polygamous in nature.
My grandma did the same thing, endured and tolerated this same rubbish from my grandpa and also all the women of her age or around her age, this is what women of nowadays can't take any longer and it's the reason randy men are saying they're not submissive.

  21. But the man didn't sleep with himself, he slept with women. Nigerian women are shameless they can sleep with anything. Right from young age they have countless boyfriends and end up becoming toxic, and most becomes bad wives as a result of the hurts they carries from previous relationships. And they blame men for it. Why not stop sleeping around, especially with married men.
