The Dangote Refinery has taken its IPO enlightenment campaign directly to the streets, sending trained marketers into neighbourhoods to educate Nigerians on the importance of buying shares and the safety of long‑term investment
According to SDK sources quoting the refinery '' many Nigerians still fear leaving their shares untouched for months, largely because the appropriate financial bodies failed to properly educate the public''.
Dangote Refinery has now stepped in with a grassroots outreach strategy, breaking down how IPO investment works and why returns may take time.
Residents have responded with strong interest, asking questions about dividends, holding periods and the security of investing in a major national project.
The refinery says the street campaign is part of its effort to make investment knowledge accessible to everyday Nigerians.
Dangote Refinery also clarified that the marketers seen across communities are legitimate representatives, not scammers, and are part of its official nationwide IPO awareness programme.
If you see them, it is not a scam. It is Dangote Refinery’s verified IPO outreach team.

Good for them
