Weekend hailings....
FRIDAY MEMO
How una dey. I woke up to see wet ground this morning and it surprised me. The weather is just doing come‑and‑go....cold today, warm tomorrow. By next month, the clock will change and Europe will be on the same time as Nigeria again.
I really don’t want to address this, but I have to. BV XP, please stop mentioning me in any write‑up you do. I do not like the demeaning way you refer to me. I have no problem with you, but I cannot allow you use certain words on me and expect me to look away. Whatever you think I am .... mugu, mumu, smart, stupid , you are correct. Just don’t mention it openly again.
Also note that I did not know you have private contact with France, and I have no intention of coming between the two of you. Why would I want to do that? If it looked that way to you, please overlook it.
I have nothing but like for you.
Papa Chucky, please stop engaging yourself in a war of words with women here...just ignore them abeg you...E dey your body...Just ignore!!!!
I am seeing that they are trying to turn you to a woman hater before you know now they will add that i am the one enabling you...So please do it for my safe and cos of my love for Chucky oh...
Hugs to all....

Time To Reflect On Yourself And If You Gifted Smiles Or Tears
Sometimes you need to pause and look back at your own footsteps…..
In the last week, month, or year, did you give people smiles, or did you leave them with tears?
Did your presence calm situations or scatter them?
Did your words heal or wound?
Did you show kindness or did you allow anger to speak for you?
Reflection is not punishment. It’s correction.
It’s how you grow, how you soften, how you become better than yesterday.
Today, take a moment and ask yourself quietly:
Did I gift smiles… or did I gift tears?

NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS
Last year, I was working with an online company that was Arab-based and, by extension, Muslim.
I had a class with two young girls. One of the students, an 8-year-old, abruptly asked if I was a Christian or a Muslim.
At that point, I knew where the conversation was heading, and although I would have preferred to quench it, I wanted to enlighten this innocent mind.
So, I replied that I was a Christian. At that point, her countenance changed, and she quickly added that she didn't like non-Muslim teachers.
I looked at her and felt so much pity. She could even summon the courage to say the word "Christian."
It became clear to me that someone had brainwashed the child.
At that point, I had only one mission and, perhaps, one chance to speak to her about Jesus.
However, I had an impediment. It was an international academic class, not a street or a church.
I had to find a way to introduce her to the concept of Christ without necessarily calling the name Jesus or Christ.
I remembered that the gospel of Jesus is love: "Love your neighbour as yourself." Nothing more. The gospel cannot be spread with a sword or hatred, but simply through the empirical formula of love.
So, I told her that it didn't matter if she didn't like me; I loved her.
At that point, she went silent, and her countenance fell. I could tell she was disappointed because my response wasn't something she had expected.
At that point, the classroom went silent. Imagine telling someone you hate them for no reason, and they tell you they love you for no reason.
The other child said, "Teacher, I love you." Sigh.
At that point, I knew Jesus had saturated the room. Something had been done to their minds, a thorough renewal, a new orientation, and a new outlook.
The children had unlearned what they had been taught, and now it was time for them to start doing research on their own and not depend solely on what they were told.
It is amazing how a simple truth can cancel out so many lies.
The rest of the class was conducted mostly in silence. I had done the work of an evangelist.
After I bade the children goodbye, I realized that we don't always need to say much. Sometimes, very little can carry so much weight.
I also realized that we don't always have a lot of time. We must always be prepared through the Holy Spirit.
Not a topic i wanna meander into…...

KNOW THIS
--. Your word must be your bond!
--. Show gratitude. Always!
--. Some people come into your life from r a season. When they leave, let them.
--. Failure is okay. But what you do after you fail is what eventually defines you.
--. The 10-10-10 rule. Will this matter in 10 days? 10 months, or 10 years.
--. Integrity is non negotiable
-- Life moves fast! Take the photos for the memories.
-- Listen more than you talk"

This life is not exactly fair to women. Only a woman will go through painful menstruation. Only a woman will go through painful child birth. Then comes pre-menopause symptoms. Unplugging you totally from your own life. No one prepared me for this pre-menopause stage in this life. I spent so much on medication because I thought it was malaria and the rest.
ReplyDeleteMay God have mercy on women.
Good afternoon y'all

DeleteHello everyone ππππ
ReplyDeleteI posted this on Sp yesterday and I thought I should make the post again. The sanitary pad trends i talked about the other day was about how lot of women were complaining, not just one or two, but dozens, about hormonal imbalances, severe itching, rashes, burning sensations, and even peeling of the genital skin after using certain brands. Some popular brands were directly called out in the comment sections. The complaints were much and honestly alarming. Many women said they thought it was an infection at first, until they stopped using the pads and the symptoms cleared. Then I started seeing videos from some medical practitioners talking about how some of our sanitary pads are made with arsenic and other toxic chemicals in high doses, and that this is the cause of the many complaints women have been reporting. They explained that some of the fragrances, bleaching agents and super-absorbent materials used to make the pads "extra white" and "extra absorbent" contain chemicals that shouldn't come in contact with such a sensitive area, especially for long hours. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you also have such complaints after using certain sanitary pads?
Why was my reply yesterday to Bv Excess code not enabled?
