Nollywood Icon Teco Benson Bags PhD

Celebrated Nollywood filmmaker Teco Benson has added a new feather to his cap. The veteran producer took to Facebook to announce that he has successfully completed his PhD at Gregory University, Uturu, and described it as “A milestone achieved. My PhD Doctoral Defence at Gregory University, Uturu. Grateful to God.”

Teco Benson is one of the filmmakers who shaped Nollywood’s golden era. His movies carried content, class, and strong storytelling, and anyone he featured in his productions instantly became popular once the film landed on Iweka Road, the heart of Nollywood distribution back in the day.
If you don’t know Teco, you don’t know Nollywood.
A big congratulations to Dr. Teco Benson on this remarkable achievement!
