France And Germany Hit By Cost‑Of‑Living Protests

Fresh waves of cost‑of‑living protests have broken out across France and Germany, as residents say rising prices, stagnant wages, and economic pressure have pushed households to the limit.

In France, demonstrators gathered in major cities including Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse, and Lille, demanding government action on soaring food prices, rent hikes, and high energy bills. Videos circulating online show crowds chanting against policies they believe have worsened inflation and reduced purchasing power.
Germany also witnessed widespread demonstrations. Protests were recorded in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Stuttgart, and Frankfurt ; one of the country’s major financial hubs. Residents complained about rising supermarket prices, expensive utilities, and the overall strain of daily living costs.
Some groups accused leaders of ignoring the financial pressure ordinary families face.
These protests across Europe highlight growing frustration as the citizens continue to battle economic hardship and rising cost of every day life.
