This Memo was written after an article was published online stating that
IMMIGRATION DETAINEES IN LINDSAY JAIL STAGE PROTEST AND HUNGER STRIKE...majority of the detainees are Nigerians being held against their will and in isolation from help.
Memo: To the High Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ottawa Canada
To whom it may concern,
I write this letter, as a mother, father, brother, sister, friend, a member of humanity and most of all as a fellow Nigerian. I ask and beg for the Nigerian Embassy, The High Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and anyone who has the power to help, to do so and intervene on behalf of all the Nigerian men that are being held in detention by immigration/Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) in Lindsay, Ontario.
