  5. Stella he is/was my brother. He was Killed on his BIRTHDAY Stella. All because he SAVED a woman from getting robbed. The urchins were livid with anger because of this, and as my brother walked home to be with his kids and wife to celebrate his day, they followed suit and cussed him. He didn't answer them, they were furious, and they went ahead to punch him. He fell hitting his head on the pavement. He lost his memory instantly, that was it. He was never to come alive again. HE DIED. All we want is JUSTICE!!!!!!

I speak on behalf of my siblings and the entire Yesufu! God bless you Stella

  8. Clapton is a very dangerous zone. Glorified ghetto. The Jewish people living in the area just makes it a little quiet. The crime there is crazy, carried out by mostly jamo and East African teenagers. So sad! Rip

  13. Madam Stella don't be suprised that crime might be black on black o
As racist as British oyibo s are you will hardly find them going about to attack black people or other minorities they can talk but they seldom follow through
The attacks on the mosque and the Asian man was by two Ukrainian students who have since been arrested and charged to court.the first time I got robbed was by a black guy in eltham when they snatched my shiny Nokia 8850 second time was also a black guy NigeriAn who took my wallet with a gun in the toilet of a Nig restaurant in plumstead

  17. The irony of this matter is that the young lads that killed my brother are teenagers, 18-19. They know his son in the area but they didn't realize the man they attacked was his dad. It happened on the corner of the street from where they live.

The only reason Bakre didn't give a fight back is because he saw them as young lads his son's age. But for the timely intervention of the cops, Bakre's son was ready to give the hoodlums a fight back...which would have resulted a racial/deadly conflicts/blood shed in that community, because one of the perpetrators is caucasian.

They tried to appease his son just before the cops swung in to arrest them. They said they didn't know that Bakre was his father!!

Did they have to know him NOT to have attacked? so what if he was just a random passerby? is it justified to attack a person who sought for the safety of a fellow helpless being? This man didn't even attack them or call the police after they tried to rob that woman! Did he have to die or get hit at all? He was ok with the harassment because he knew that he had saved the woman from them.. but alas!!!! If it was a caucasian that got killed in the UK in this manner,we will not hear the end of it. Therefore this matter will NOT rest until justice prevails! There's a preliminary hearing next week, and all we want is for JUSTICE to prevail! Please pray for my family at this very difficult time. Bless you! Thanks SDK.

ppl should note dat for d fact dat a black man is killed in a white man country doesnt call for racism
mostly a black man kills a fellow black man most times..

d issue hear is crime n not racism.

tackle d main issue without sentiments

  23. Diran Yesufu,
My condolences to you and your family at this sad time. May the LORD grant your family the fortitude to bear the loss of your dear brother.

  24. May he rest in peace and condolences to his family.

I hope the Voice Newspaper will carry this story. To his family here, look for Dianne Abbott the MP for Hackney. I know she's not a fan of Nigerians but drop a letter for her in the Borough. You never know.

Stella, I still find London very safe. Safety usually depends on different boroughs.

  25. I know this is a long time after poor Bakre was killed but I have only just come across the news. I went to school with Bakre in the 70's and I knew Taj too and Rasaki a little bit (sorry if spellings wrong) Even back then Bakre was a gentleman - kind, generous and brave - I looked up to him as a fine role model and aspired to be as a good a person as he was. I am so sorry he is no longer with us.

    1. I know Bakre too as well as his step sister Sumbo, Taju and Rasaki when they were living in Tooting Broadway and their late Dad Lawyer Yesufu. Cant belived he was murdered on his birthday by two teenagers. The colour doesnt matter and is so scary and sad that hes gone just like that. I wish to know what happened to the teenagers that committed such a terrible crime
Were they sentenced to a very long time in prison or charged with manslaughter. Really curious to know the outcome if justice was served
      Rest in peace Bakre
