Obasanjo's Letter Is The Most Reckless,Baseless,Unjustifiable And Indecorous Against Jonathan Administration

''President Jonathan has directed that none of his aides or any government official should join issues with Chief Obasanjo over it. ...''  IT REFERS TO THIS  STINKER OBASANJO SENT JONATHAN

''We have noted the publication on several websites today of a letter recently written by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
The Presidency acknowledges that it has indeed received the said letter from Chief Obasanjo.
We however find it highly unbecoming, mischievous and provocative that a letter written by a former Head of State and respected elder statesman to President Jonathan  has been deliberately leaked to the mass media in a deplorable effort to impugn the integrity of the President and denigrate his commitment to giving Nigeria the best possible leadership.

While many patriotic, objective and well-meaning Nigerians have already condemned the leaked letter as self-serving, hypocritical, malicious, indecent, and very disrespectful of the highest office in the land, President Jonathan has directed that none of his aides or any government official should join issues with Chief Obasanjo over it.

The President himself will, at the appropriate time, offer a full personal response to the most reckless, baseless, unjustifiable and indecorous charges levied against him and his administration by the former Head of State.''

  1. And signed by Reuben Abati. *sighs* I just pity this man when his tenure ends sha. The only thing here is that as these two elephants r fighting, the grasses will begin to not only suffer, but wither. I just pity this country cos our disasters r purely man-made in a country that God has blessed abundantly. It is well.

    2. I just read the letter verbatim, and OBJ was absolutely spot on...Love him or hate him. It is indeed sad that as usual, some people rendered the usual cliché..."what did OBJ do when he was president?". yes he may have done a lot wrong whilst he was there, but in all, that man has done more good than evil to Nigeria and for the citizenry. What an elder sees while seating, a child can never see even if he mounts a tower.

OBJ raised salient points that the average mentally pragmatic Nigerian should consider or re consider. GEJ and his cohorts know this, even foolish Reuben cannot distort these facts. OBJ has nothing to lose come to think of it. He's been president twice, has enough money to last him his lifetime...he is already powerful worldwide...so what else can come from his stable if not the TRUTH, as an elder/states man?

We can rubbish his integrity or call him names all we like, but the facts and the pertinent innuendos raised cannot be rubbished or brushed under the carpet. We cannot rewrite history. The power that be should address it or issue a rejoinder if they must come to equity with clean hands. OBJ has thrown them an open challenge, it is their prerogative to prove him right or otherwise. Pleading the 5th amendment at this juncture isn't applicable, and it's not what the Nigerian people require. The president needs to dialogue with us like he did when he was seeking votes during his campaign for office. We didn't bite him then, and we sure won't bite him now.

As for you Reuben, no words for you. After all, "no one talks whilst they are eating with mouth full". Your conscience will tackle u if u have any. You guys should keep impoverishing us until God takes up our course. A revolution is what will emancipate us from these blood sucking vultures. And to think that okupe mentioned..only days ago that GEJ is the Nelson Mandela of our time??? makes me shrug at his audacity to relegate and insult the memory of that great man. How dare you Okupe?

I'm sick of y'all I swear. 2015 is round the corner. God will keep us all to see that time. And I hope and wait patiently to see Jonathan asthe first seating president to lose re election to office. Pray tell. Mshewww

    6. Anon 7:19..come a little bit closer...#spits on ur face# clearly it is u that was born with perforated brain malfunction. What's ur argument here? But no, very typical of the average Nigerian to resort to name calling without stating their grievances or whether they disagree or not. Listen, this is an open forum, u either state ur point if u have any, or simply get the helll out ok? with ur cyber uncouth shenanigans. U picked on the wrong bitch.

And let me add, if u were not born blind, deaf, or disabled urself, I wish All and more for u this Xmas. Ur generation to come will be born with all of the above for daring to type that nonsense to me. You'll remember this day in future, trust me.

  14. Between Rueben Abati and Doyin Okupe not sure who would win the award for best asskisser. The things these men do and say all in the name of serving the government/Jonathan makes me shudder. I sincerely hope they are able to retain a small bit of their integrity at the end of this dispensation.

  15. @atinuke quadric, ur kind of mentality towards this serious issue is the problem we have in Nigeria as youths. We do not know our right as citizens. Can u hear urself? off course it affect u and ur family because u re Nigerian. When u don't know what affect u then u have problem as citizen. Do u like ur condition the past years with this government? even the asuu strike affect u,light, security, electricity. This is d reason none of u even know their rights to vote. Lost generations. 10years of OBJ in power is better than 6months of GEJ in power.

    1. Tell her ,pls tell her. I'm afraid that's a bigger problem this country myt face with youths showing stupid non-challant attitudes towards matters that closely concerns them, with ppl like that I doubt there wld ever b a revolution

  16. It is on record that all past presidents of Nigeria left with shame. Unfortunately, GEJ is taking that naked path of shame as he's already abusing the goodwill of God and the masses.

  19. A LETTER TO Dr. NELSON MANDELA
    Dear Dr. Nelson,
Please when you get to the world beyond, tell
Herbert Macaulay that the party he founded
has been turned to People Destroying Party.

Tell Obafemi Awolowo that we now pay
school fees without going to school.

Help me tell Nnamdi Azikiwe that the long
wall to democracy he built has fallen, only
    the cracked fence still stands.

Tell Chief Anthony Enaharo that the
independent nation he fought for is no
    more.

Tell Alh. Ahmadu Bello that our judicial
system now favors only the rich.

Also tell Baba Fela that Terry G is the new afro beat king.

Tell Murtala Mohammed that we still use
kerosene to cook and candles to see.

Tell King Jaja of Opobo that we are still
    slaves in our own country.

Pls tell Dele Giwa that the Nigerian press has been bought with money and that bombs are no longer sent through letters, but they are thrown openly like knockouts on Christmas Eve.

and please don't forget to tell Prof. Iyayi
that Federal Govt paid N200 Billion into
ASUU account but they have not seen alert.

He had expected his lesbo daughter Iyabo to be a minister?didnt he rule Naija at 3 different political dispensation? What were his achievements? When he was in power didn't his Yoruba people surround him? Is unbecoming for an old man to throw tantrums without reasoning.Obj your time don pass, allow Jona do em work.he hasn't told anyone that Stella Oduah will not be sack at the appropriate time.
