Gov Amaechi's 2014 Appropriation Bill Abracadabra!

Governor Chibuike Amaechi on Tuesday January 7,2014 presented the 2014 budget of N485.524 billion to the state assembly and the next day signed the 2014 appropriation bill into law after the House of Assembly sat in the Government House and passed the bill the previous day. ……..it happened like magic!

There were no interviews and no verification or review was made.

Hon Chidi Lloyd the Assembly member that was held by the State police for alleged murder was rumoured to be present on Tuesday after he was released on bail …he was part of the 25 lawmakers that passed the bill in to law.

An anonymous source also revealed that N200 million was given to each of the 25 lawmakers that was present to facilitate the passing of the bill....

Efforts were made to reach out and hear the governors version but there was no response.

  9. This is the reason Nigeria is where we are today. Our leaders know how to press the "mumu" button of the very gullible masses. How can people come here and say Stella is anti Amaechi? Why can't we see the ridiculousness of what he just did? The amount of money involved is not something we should just overlook. The lawmakers that passed the budget in 24hrs, are they now economic geniuses that they don't need to scrutinise a budget that large? Is the government house now their chamber? If they have grievances about being locked out of their chambers why didn't they go to court or even the NHC as Amaechi himself has done?
If we don't remove unnecessary sentiments from our thinking, our leaders will continue to behave as they like and continue to grow in their audacious raping of our resources while we just sit and complain everyday.

  19. Amaechi is on hard drugs, gt no respect for anyone, beats his wife even in public, yes Stella you should do a post on that soon, the wife had to relocate to the uk,Rivers state is without a first lady as we speak, a Man that can't manage his own home/Family cannot manage a state well. And those saying Stella is Anti Apc, whether Apc oh, Pdp oh...they are all thieves until Nigerians stop voting parties nd start voting the "Man" this country won't move forward......#My2cents#
