  13. Chai such a promising young man_hope he gets justice! Even if he was guilty no1's gonna talk about it anymore, how will d bank get back wotever they accused him of defrauding 'em for? Wot's d point now? There shoulda been a limit to d torture, cos whoever was torturing him must have noticed he was reaching his breaking point buh still continued torturing him,no1 has d right to take someone else's life no matter what.

  17. Someone should please help his wife get a good lawyer to sue the bank. This is not the first time Ecobank is locking up its staff in the name of Atm cash theft without proper investigation. Because they feel that there are no jobs outside, so they can do anything to us. Staff welfare is zero and inhuman in this Bank. Perhaps if they are sued and made to pay heavily for their crimes for once, they will learn their lesson. They hate bad publicity but they have principalities and powers who will never do the right thing. Can we count the number of colleagues they have locked up for flimsy reasons? Let's take this to the media homes too. They need to be exposed so the world knows who they really are. Pan African bank my ***

  20. Only in Nigeria ........will an accused but not proven guilty, be tortured to his death in a bid to coerce him into admitting to a crime he may not have committed.....

    Only in Nigeria!
    F..ked up country! Messed up.

Meanwhile someone who stole billions, masquereded as a woman back to naija , is already running for a post in the senate. He wasn't tortured in anyway, he was patted on the back and granted a presidential pardon.

That's the country we live in!

  22. This is d story and details I
    gathered so far: ( sources:his
    younger brother and an inlarw
    to his widow)
Tunde was accused of a missing
    1.2million from eco bank, ladipo
    where he worked sometime late
last year. He was asked to refund
    the money amount.
    According to Tunde den
    someone posted d money with
    his system. However Tunde made
effort to repay d money, his
accouny was put on hold and
that of his wife who works with
the bank was also put on hold.
    (they could no longer make
    withdrawals from their acct).
Tunde was able to to repay 600k
before d events that led to his
    arrest.
On sunday d 16th of feb, Tunde
had a fire accident in his
    residence, his generator
    exploded, leaving burns in his
hands and legs. Tunde went with
d burns to the office on monday
to show his branch manager and
explain d fact that he wont be
able to stay at work for the day.
On tuesday 18th feb Tunde was
on his way to clinic and some
    persons ecobank called his wife
to inform her that they were
coming to arrest her at her
    branch since d husband has
    absconded. She quickly placed a
call to her husband to inform him
    and her husband reported
    immediately to work abandoning
his treatment due to the threat.
Tunde was arrested at work on
    Tuesday and taken to the
    divisional headquarters at Ikoyi
where he was locked up for 3
days. All efforts to get his bail
went futile as the police insisted
that based on d instruction of
the bank, they must get the
    outstanding.
His lawyer was asked to bring 1
million and he told dem bail was
free and he cant raise such. In
    the course of arguement the
police escalated d debt to 2.4
    million and the lawyer reminded
them he only had an outstanding
    of 600k.
Tunde was tortured as usual by
the police in the cell and on
    thursday morning his mother
    inlaw and brother visited the
station, but was again urged by
d police to quickly go and get
money. They went to use the atm
and on their way back, they saw
    an ambulance and wen they
peeped into it, they saw Tunde's
    cloths drenched in blood, his
mouth foaming and it was also
    discovered later that a coke
bottle cover was placed in his
    pocket. The police started
alleging poison that he took a
    poisonous coke.
    Now am wondering, poison from
where? This is the story so far.
    We are waiting for autopsy
results but the media must be at
    alert... the process must b
corruption free. Eco bank and the
NPF will be doing all they can to
    bribe as many as possible....any
one who takes bribe on this
issue will die a miserable death
    in Jesus name.

    1. Thank you very much for this piece of information. Because of this singular act of wickedness, I pity ecobank this season cos they will so lose customers. Justice should be sought on this case cos as I de now, na vex I de. What is this nonsense sef. Everyday, its one bad news and it must be the NPF. Asory will be their second name. Poisonous coke? From where? Is this how they protect their citizens? Infact boko haram should start bombing their hqtrs and all their police stations!! Pikin wey sey im mama no go sleep, im too no go sleep. Our problems in this country are the NPF and the Politicians!!!BASTARDS!!! E no go better for any of them at all. Let me see what pepeye Ngozi braide has to say to regarding this. As usual no comment from her end. And whoever tortured this guy to his death, I pity your life this year alone.
I am not a banker, but what we suffer in the hands of these useless mofos is getting too much. Idiots!!!

    2. What a life. Either way they are responsible for his death. If they are alleging that he drank a poisonous bottle of coke, no problem. Who gave him the coke to drink? As long as it wasn't any of his family member, then the police should explain from where they bought the so called poisonous coke. Who handed him the coke? He was locked up, hence couldn't have controlled whatever he consumed. Even when outsiders bring food for anyone in detention, they always ask that they taste it first. (in Nigeria). So what's this lie about? If the autopsy shows that he died from poison, police are to blame. If it shows that he was tortured to death, they are to blame still. Either way they will not go unpunished. Tunde' s blood will speak vengeance. No rest for the police force and Eco bank until justice prevails. Bloody bastards.

this man may be innocent for pete's sake.. and even if he is not, he shouldn't have been tortured to the point of death, not that i condone stealing but.. this is not good. what happens to the wife and two children?
