Kefee’s Branama Kitchen celebrates 2nd year anniversary; announce Valentine bonanza
Branama Kitchen the restaurant of foremost female recording artiste, Kefee (Irikefe Don-Momoh), is two. The restaurant located at Mende Maryland, Lagos, was opened on Jan. 5, exactly two years ago on Kefee’s birthday and celebrated its 2nd year anniversary on Thursday.
Kefee who is presently in the United States of America where she is studying Production and Directing at the Chicago Access Network TV, registered her joy at the development in a telephone interview.

She said she was glad that the restaurant is celebrating its two years of existence and thanked God for His mercies.
``I am grateful to God for bringing us this far. I opened Branama Kitchen on my birthday two years ago, so I am also celebrating my birthday and I thank God for all he has done for me,’’

Kefee went on to address the issue of the closure of the restaurant some months back.

``Yes, the restaurant was closed but it was just for maintenance purposes. If you visit the restaurant you will see some of the changes that have taken place there,’’

Kefee has been in the US since last year for her course but refused to disclose when  she would return to Nigeria and admitted that she was almost rounding off her programme soon.
``I will be back soon,’’ she simply said when quizzed.

As part of the celebrations for Branama Kitchen’s 2nd year anniversary Kefee said they would giving out a food bonanza to couples on Valentine’s Day. She said that all couples who visit the restaurant on Feb. 14 can eat two plates of food and pay for just one.

The restaurant had already served free meals to all customers on Thursday, Jan. 5.

Kefee is one of the few very active and relevant Nigerian female music acts with four albums to her name.

She broke into the industry in 2003 with her first album, Branama and the hit track of the same title.
A second album, Branama 2, followed in 2005 but it was her third album, A Piece of Me (2009), which had another hit, Kokoroko, featuring Timaya reaffirmed her position in the Nigerian music industry.

Her fourth album which was released in 2013 is called Chorus Leader.

    3. What kind of generation is this? Is it now wrong to wait till after marriage to have sex? Just because you give it to every man that comes your way in the name of being in a relationship doesn't make it right? GOD's word is the same yesterday, today and forever. My advice to you? Zip up! That way you'll have men falling over themselves just to have you for keeps. Any man that wants to get into your pants before marriage does not love you. A word is enough for the wise.
