DeleteI had one boy I dated back in naija, he was in the UK though, whilst I was preparing to go to the UK for my masters. We communicated well ooo, he even calls my mum nd send stuff to me. He was the one in charge of my application to the UK and school stuff, but with time, he gave me his yahoo password so I can read the mail from the school and reply them. Months passed and I got to the UK. The first time he came to visit, he jammed one lady in my friend's house, lo and behold, he has chooked her once. I let that slide.

Faithfulness is a huge sacrifice, and I have not seen the he-goat that is worthy of that sacrifice. Maybe it is because every relationship I have gone into, I find out later that I am being cheated on. My current boyfriend? It was all rosy and dreamland for 3months....there I was thinking "I found him!" I was all faithful and lovey-dovey.

the men abeg. about 90% of them still cheat even when married. No matter how loving they appear to be in the home, therz someone out there to satisfy the extra needs. Women may cheat when single but only about 10% cheat when married.

Omo see my husband that can't tell u 'I'm sorry' when he does wrong pleading with d babe to allow him drop her there!
Hmmm, and to think I was pregnant and always had sex everyday, I wondered what could be d problem, my bp rose immediately, I had to drop d call cos it was still reading.
My husband came back with his usual story: "today has bn hectic" "no money".

ReplyDeleteWell, I don't have a cheating story because I have not been cheated on. As controversial as this topic may seem, I dare to take a stand that men cheat more in relationships. Reasons being that :
DeleteWomen tend to steer clear of cheating cos of the attendant effects of shame and stigmatisation that come with being caught. Whereas for a man, he is easily forgiven or he gets a pass cos he is a man and lame psychology says he is wired to cheat.
Serious commitments/marriage kills xes and the erotic thrill in a relationship and like babies, men get bored and move on to other exciting games; cheating . This is so cos the women stop looking good after getting a man. Some just get too serious and skip the flirtations
Women forgive easily : men are easily forgiven when they stray unlike women that society make to wear the toga of infidelity. They are labelled as whores or cheerful givers ( God doesn't love this kinda of cheerful givers) whereas a man who does same is accorded 'respect'.
Let's note that cheating is not only physical but very much psychological or emotional. When you get that intimate thrill with someone other your spouse, you are cheating. The nutty-flirty chats and convos. The kicks you get from someone else that you won't let your partner know is also cheating.
P.S : Men don't cheat with themselves. They cheat with women. And this women cheat the women these men are in relationships with.
The men nah, their cheating can raise a dead body up, they go as far lying that they aren't married just to down into the ukwu sugar, some even swear, the kokombelow must really drive them nuts, for them to be initiating so many strategy just to eat the forbidden fruit

Some white women cheat with the assistance of their husbands who help them look for men to sleep with them and get paid for sleeping with their wives. An average western lady cheats and their society doesn't see it as a big deal.

DeleteI honestly don't think there is a ratio for cheating,but if I'm forced to say,I'd say men cheat more,and I'd say this simply based on the fact that my ex cheated on me with another,or maybe he cheated on her with me(who knows?) it goes both ways. men cheat and women cheat. men cheat like its second nature. many people didn't understand when I said I was cheating on my cheating bf. what attracted me to him was the way he approached me. we were fast friends and he started pestering me for a relationship. very eloquent and romantic.sending me text messages and emails at times I didn't expect. fast forward to 7 months in the relationship and I decided to snoop. chai! all dose messages were chain messages that he sent to about 4 girls and I was the one gullible enough to fall for it. I saw a lot of things a girl shouldn't see in her boyfriends fone. I confronted him,he apologised and I accepted but the trust was gone. I waited for a while and snooped again n discovered he even had the guts to sexchat while I was sleeping on the bed with him. the day I would leave him,it will be like film trick. we are still deceiving ourselves shae and I don't have any regrets

Men go as far as having so many Fb accounts, twitter accounts and so on just to have multiple babes. How do u explain a man, who wld swear with his mother, father and his whole generation that he doesn't have a woman in his life? Deletei have cheated on one of my boyfriends in d past nd i had no regrets nd still dont have, the idiot was cheating on me wit a lady from d federal poly in my state while we were in d state university, he was in final year nd i was a freshman. he was rich nd a smooth talker(fear lawyers/law students) i totally fell for his charm nd sauve, anytime his babe came visiting he will lie to me that he was traveling to visit him mum so i wouldnt come calling since we lived in different areas in school. this guy nd his friends made me feel like a queen not knowing it was a facade(washy infact all na effect). i received a call from him one sunny friday afternoon that he was traveling nd even called me abt an hour later to say he had arrived only for me to catch him in town with his babe wen i went shopping with his debit card. i called him nd he quickly ushered d babe into his car nd picked my call only for him to tell me that he was in d market with his cousin in his mum's town. i was shattered nd angry infact i travelled home that evening cos i just needed to forget d whole thing. on saturday morning my mum asked to go pick up her make up kit from my cousin's shop in d highbrow area of my state nd on my way back a handsome looking guy in a sweet ride gave me a lift nd we exchanged numbers nd got talking. i returned to shcl on sunday and carried on wit my cheating bf as if nothing happened while i was plotting my revenge cos i didnt want to break up with him without humiliating him like he did to me, my new handsome friend was on my neck to come visit him nd coincidentally he lived in d town where my bf's babe schools. my bf babe came in dat weekend and i heard d same cock nd bull story so i packed a few things and went to visit d guy. hmm it was d best weekend of my life although he lied about his occupation nd lifestyle but after i came to reality with it nd let all my inhibitions go and had d time of my life. i became a changed person that moment nd i hardly had time for my schl bf, my friends suggested i leave d lying cheat nd concentrate on my new guy but i was still bent on revenge. i started treathening my liar with break up each time he offended me nd he will go down on his knees crying nd begging me not to leave him even though he was cheating, i publicly humiliated him in front of his friends d day i caught another girl on his bed nd after sending d girl away i told him i was done wit him. he cried nd begged as usual but i was adamant cos my relationship with him was putting a strain on d new one i was building, he left his house very upset that night nd i was waiting for him to come cos i wanted to collect d gold chain he bought for me. i received a call from his friend that he was making a fool of himself in a club nd saying i want to leave him, i quickly drove his car to d place nd ordered him to get his acts together so we could go home nd d next thing he did was to knee down in front of his friends in a crowded club nd started to cry nd beg dat i shouldnt leave him nd dat he would die if i did, his friends was mad at him for kneeling for a freshman nd i told him to get up. i couldnt break up wit him cos it was close to his final exam(2nd semester) instead i let distance break us up wen he went to law school in abuja. nd i continued my new relationship wit my military boo

What if the hugs become less tighter and less frequent, the kisses become drier and animated, no more spontaneous calls just to tell us they can't wait to get home to us, rather the only time their phones ring, they give us this weird smirk and dismiss the calls like they aren't important but the persistence of the caller forces them to give some flimsy excuse and walk away to take the call. All those naughty things we do which normally drives them mad with desire are now met with indifference and the love making becomes rid of passion and becomes like an obligation. Then one day we look into the eyes of our "Romeo" and realise the spark is gone. We try to warm our way back but our efforts seem to irritate them. One day, after months of tears and depression, we finally see that spark in their eyes we've craved to see, suddenly excitement rushes through our bodies, raising out temperature! Alas! It isn't as hopeless as we feared, our Prince Charming is finally coming to his senses. We move closer to give him a kiss only to realise his eyes weren't fixed on us. In confusion, we turn around and discover to our sheer horror that some other lady has the ability to bring out that same spark in our Romeo 's eyes. The spark we mistakenly believed we had exclusive rights to.
Until you've survived rejection from a once loving partner, you may never appreciate the facts that some choices disguise as survival tactics and defence mechanism against threatening insanity.
