Actress Yetunde Akilapa Arrested Again For Stealing

Yorubawood actress, Yetunde Akilapa has again been arrested for breaking into a beauty lounge after closing hours in Yaba where she works.

This is coming few months after she was beaten to coma for a similar offence.

Akilipa was accused of stealing from her boss; the lady who teaches her makeup.

It was gathered that Yetunde reportedly broke in at night after everyone had gone home with a master key, carting away some iphones and iPads before nemesis caught up with her.

She was accosted and immediately whisked away by some policemen.
After series of questioning, all that could be extracted from her was that she heard a strange voice urging her to go and steal.
  •  The lady has insisted that the case must be taken to court even after several pleas from Yetunde’s sister.

Dailypost reportage.

OMG...She is still stealing?OH GOD Help your child from this shame. This is not normal at all.Where did she get another set of master keys from?

    4. This is no klepto case abeg. A kleptomania usually steal things that don't have value, not necessarily useful or things that doesn't being profit. Babe stole iPads and iphones and was with a master key.its either she's possessed, under a course or just a petty thief.

    3. Chai the disgrace will tail after her for a very long time. Even after she stops the habit people will never forget. I guess she's still single. She should just relocate and change her name and profession.

There are two things man should pray never befalls him... one is "madness" and the other is the spirit of "stealing". With these two..there's nothing u can do to redeem ur image in the sight of those who have seen u act in both situations. Sad

  13. Then again, are her parents alive? Will a mother sit and watch a child she carried for 9months suffer like this?
This reminds me of a girl in a Female Hostel I once lived back then in Enugu. This girl can steal for Africa!!!! She was soooo clean on the outside, mops her room daily, you will never find dirt around her but on the inside, she was soooooo filthy...
Her last " operation" involved her moulding her best friend's key to gain access to the girl's room while we were on ASSU strike.
We resumed and the girl noticed all her valuables were gone. Guess she went to a seer or something because immediately she came back after a day's journey, she went straight to the girls room and gave her resounding slaps. It attracted people and when they searched her room, found a funny looking box and opened it, lots of people saw several things they had misplaced over the years including several sets of Men’s wristwatches, Male Perfumes, ATM cards and sun glasses.......
The beating they gave her sha, no be here. She moved out of the hostel the next day. Haven't heard from her since then.

    1. Now that is a clear case of kleptomania, or else she would have sold off all those stuff long ago. This Yetunde babe is a thief. Simple!

      Delete
    2. But some people who used to steal in school back then did not continue after school. Well, I hope not. Cos when I was in boarding school we had serious babes that were known for stealing, even guys. And once the whole school is aware, they become mindful of them.
And sometimes when u lose something u go straight to the known "thieves" to ask for ur stuff. Many atimes it may not even be the person, as there were hidden thieves as well that no one knew.

Anyway my point is that for those known thieves in school that never continued stealing after school, I don't think they were real thieves, perhaps the situation in school back then compelled them to steal from others. We had starvation periods, we had some from very poor homes who couldn't afford to bring provisions or money to school. So they resorted to stealing. But now it's a thing of the past cos it wasn't in their blood to steal...but for the circumstances. Whatever their story, those of us who knew them will still see them as thieves. But those ones who continued stealing after school and have now graduated into grand theft should consider deliverance. This lady here seems to be possessed. Whatever spirit is against her is bent on disgracing her everywhere she goes.

  14. There's definately more to this woman's matter than meets the eyes. Her people better take her for deliverance before jungle justice becomes her.

    1. @ using yorubawood.... Sounds absurd to me. Read on the blog the other day when someone mentioned 'nothing like nollywood Yoruba' whilst she was reporting on laide bakare, however, I would imagine she was right to say so. Imagine this scenario... A university has two campuses or even several in different parts of the country or world... U hear them say e.g. University of so so, lagos campus, Benin campus or kaduna campus. Not that each campus has its own name. Just my own thoughts

    2. Yorubawood is the southwest version of the Nigerian movie industry just like we have Kannywood in the north. Nollywood has nothing to do with a particular ethnic tribe. Omotola, Ini Edo Desmond Elliot and Ramsey Noah are all nollywood actors and actresses and they are not igbos.

  19. This has got nothing to do with God or spirituality. She is probably someone who is in financial hardship or is greedy and doesn't want to wait or can't be bothered to wait and acquire her own things.

For some people, stealing is a profession, it has nothing to do with spirituality, they only use that as an excuse when they get caught.

People break into properties and steal other peoples things all over the world. In western worlds when you break into a property, steal and then get caught, it has nothing to do with spirits. The person is a burglar/thief, they committed breaking and entry for the purpose of committing theft.

It is only in Nigeria that spirits talk to them to go and steal. Absolute rubbish.

    4. Seriously? so how woud you categorize actors who act in both English and Yoruba movies, the likes of Bimbo Akintola, Joke Silva, Funke Akindele, Uche Jombo featured in a Yoruba movie and even Mike Ezeruonye.

Nigerians are so divided that we have to bring tribe into everything, it is sickening..Americans call theirs Hollywood, Ghanians say Gollywood, In India, it is Bollywood.

In Nigeria, it has to be different, we focus on irrelevancies and chase shadows that is why we are stagnant. What does Yoruba wood mean? It doesn't even make sense.
