Fayose Appoints 72-year-old Carpenter As LG chairman in Ekiti

Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has appointed a 72-year-old Carpenter, Mr Olatunde Afolayan as the caretaker chairman of Moba Local Government.

Fayose also swore-in members of the State Independent Electoral Commission, headed by a retired Chief Judge of the State, Justice Kayode Bamisile.

Afolayan was sworn-in as caretaker chairman of Moba local Government alongside Mrs Omolara Bayode Ayeni and Mr Owolabi Ajewole, who are in charge of Ikole and Ijero Councils respectively.
Those earlier appointed by Governor Fayose were said to have resigned.

Speaking shortly after swearing-in the appointees, Fayose urged President Muhammadu Buhari to remove Mrs Amina Zakari as the Acting Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

A 72year old man should be on pension ,resting and enjoying himself abeg!
What is the official age to retire in Nigeria?

  13. Hahaha Fayose is using this man's appointment to mock Buhari whose age he has always hammered on.
He just wants to see the reactions this will generate and then use it to remind Nigerians of their president's age. Whimsical Fayose in action. I love him jor.
