The "Santa Comes To Visit", Fill A Goodie Bag Campaign aims at bringing joy and cheer to the homes of the less fortunate during the Yuletide season.

Widows and single mothers are the hardest hit when there is an economic crisis. Join us to put smiles on their faces and the faces of their children this Christmas.
Surprise visits will be made to the homes of lucky beneficiaries who will be picked after careful selection and consideration.

Let's make this Christmas a memorable one for the disadvantaged in our society.

Contrary to what a few think, it just happened. I had three weeks to decide. He even had to bribe the guys at the registry to boy-cot due process. Just four of us were there and the usual 21days whatever wasn't followed.


I just got a job at the time and we (my family and I) were scared it meant less time to mingle. Given the way I react to guys at that time, and how much I did not care about a relationship, Ex seemed like a perfect person to be with. Ex had to leave the country soon and he wanted some form of commitment. He knew I wasn't into him but he wanted a girl he could trust to be faithful. We were friends for years and he knew I wasn't dating so he infered Faithfulness. I loved the space the distance would give me, no worries about man. He never pressured me for sex (first man who didn't), it was so convinient for us or me. I do not want sex, I do not want man. We were both selfish jor.

He left the country the night of our registry. It happened so fast, we were talking about it and in a week it happened. Not his fault, I gave consent with my eyes opened. I had no idea what the future had in store.... our divorce was a mutual agreement. He wouldn't relocate and I wouldn't either. He found someone abroad, got married and I loved myself, learnt to outgrow my molestation history and how I had come to see myself.


Before long, I met my boo. God bless him, I told him I wasn't ready to be serious, I told him I didn't believe in marriage. He knew my disposition about guys; because I was molested, I saw every man who tried to come close as one of those who just wanted sex. I did not believe I could love or be loved. I saw me as a sex tool. Boo loved me from day one as I later realized, he was patient‎ with me, I learnt to tell him my whole truth, he became my best friend and my lover; he taught me to love and I loved him back. He made me a woman. I grew from naivety.


His family does not dictate to him. But I hate to let me cause a rift between him and his parents. I am done regretting my mistake, we want his family to know, I want subtle ways to tell them.

My uncles' story is nollywood movie o. He acts like a father to us since my dads death but would glory in anything that would bring us down. He lives to shame people, not just us. I did not tell him about the registry, I told other uncles and aunties before it happened, they encouraged me to do it and warned me not to mention to him. But he sent his child to snoop on my phone during one of her visits, thats how he found out. I later learnt from my siblings that he usually sends her to snoop on us so he can get information about us. He hasn't confronted me but he has told people who told me.


I never lived with my Ex. Since the registry, we have divorced and he has since married the person he met abroad and I have moved on too.
