Bishop Martins Uzoukwu, the Catholic Bishop of Minna Diocese, has called on Nigerians to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari’s quick recovery.
Addressing newsmen in Minna shortly after Sunday service, the cleric noted that praying for the president was imperative in view of the myriads of problems facing the country.
“I specifically pray for our President to return back home safely to administer the affairs of our great country, we should all seek divine intervention in our nation’s socio-economic and political activities.”
Speaking further, the bishop urged Nigerians to shun sentiments and put all hands on deck for this country to move forward irrespective of culture, religion and political affiliation.
He also called on Nigerians to always wish their leaders well, to enable them implement policies that would be beneficial to all.
Uzoukwu also enjoined President Buhari to demonstrate the political will in ending the endess killings of Nigerians by the insurgents, especially in the north easter part of the country.
According to him, Nigerians must assist the government and security agencies to tackle other crisis situations in the nation.

*Just remembering that some of the 2017 prophecy somehow predicted that he needs prayers too...
I can't pray for a tyrant, a wicked man, to add to the problem he stopped a match that was to hold today, pray wetin ?pray fire for him, when he supported killings of people that didn't vote for him in 2011 that led to corpers and many people being killed he didn't know, he promised to make the country ungovernable for Gej, such a wicked man that has few dumb followers that voted him in.

DeleteHehehehehe! Your comment just cracked me up!
DeleteQuick recovery?
ReplyDeleteBut Femi said he's not sick na, he's only on holiday and took the opportunity to carry out routine health checks...
They even circulated a pic of him in his living room, feet propped up, watching channels TV. Another one with his wife in a Sharia-Compliant position... Sick people don't do these things.
He could not be constrained to address the country and assure us that he's alive and well and now he needs prayers?
#WehDonSir
Lol... You cray girl! True though
DeleteBut Buhari and his people never told us or admitted he is unwell. They said he's on holiday

DeleteBuhari s health problem I believe is God answering d prayers of the families of hundreds of Christians and youth corpers that were killed or maimed in d north after he lost d election in 2011.
ReplyDeleteMy questions is
ReplyDeleteWhen is the test result going to be ready?
Atleast that's what the message said yesterday.
It didn't say he was critically I'll, it said he is waiting on a test result but the date wasn't related to us
I can't come and say something the message didn't say before dss tracks me down to my house since that's that kind of government we are in
The problem is that the president has taken an indefinite leave or vacation. This is the problem the National Assembly is having now. With what has happened now in the case of Buhari, people are now calling on the National Assembly to amend our constitution because the constitution didn't how long or the duration of the president's leave or vacation and Buhari has taken advantage of the lapse in our constitution to take an indefinite leave, Indefinite in the sense that there is no date fix for his return, unless the National Assembly to give him a date or invite his doctor to explain to the house the nature of his illness.
DeletePresident Buhari definitely needs prayer
ReplyDeleteSai Baba never condemned d 2011 post presidential election killings in d north, in fact he pledged a repeat performance should he lose d election again.
ReplyDeleteNow he is d president but seriously unwell
This should be a lesson to any future Pharaoh
But they said he is well so y the prsyers
ReplyDeleteCatholics papa said we should pray!
ReplyDeleteNo problem, remember you can't pray without a prayer point. So what area are we praying, since is not sick
Prayer ko prayer nii
ReplyDeleteWe can pray for our leaders, no big deal, but we can decide what should be the prayer point individually.
ReplyDeleteGod is a just God! He will always avenge the innocent.
ReplyDeleteMay the souls of those that were slaughtered by the wicked fulanis rest in perfect peace AMEN.
ReplyDeleteThis man is not sick according to what we were told yesterday. So what expertly are we praying for?? And why is he taking an indefinite leave. Would have been better if he comes out and address Nigerians himself than all these cork and bull stories. Well I will keep praying for you sir.
ReplyDeleteWhich help the security agents when the same security agents are intimidating the citizens...
ReplyDeleteMay God bring him alive.
