MEMO TO LADIES
Hi Stella. I don't know why I am sending this, I guess I am just too angry. Today's chronicle just reminded me of someone. I had this friend in Lagos( I used 'had' because I have cut her off) she was pregnant and confided in me about it. I told her she shouldn't dare think of removing the baby and she assured me that she doesn't plan to. She started spewing rubbish about how her baby's father cannot afford to cater for her talk more of the baby and that guyman wasn't ready to settle down and I was like, so why were you dating him?


I knew she can cater for the baby on her own(she earns well) with or without the baby's father so I was wondering why the excuses. I just told her instantly that I have never gone to an abortion clinic and neither will I ever go there so she should count me out in whatever she is doing. My instinct kept telling me to inform her mum in case she plans on removing it but I was scared of how she will take it so I didn't tell her (bad idea).


Stella do you know this is her 6th abortion? I didn't even know. She said it in passing. How some ladies can make such a wicked decision more than six times is beyond me. It is just wickedness. The day she and her stupid boyfriend went to the abortion clinic, that was the day I cut her off. Abeg I cannot have such as friends(no offence).


Dear Ladies, please if you get pregnant outside wedlock, keep that Child. God will meet your needs for that child if you believe in him and you are hardworking.You don't know God's plans for that child and you have NO RIGHT to kill a child because of your selfish reasons. For christ sake protect yourselves if you must have sex. This child you are killing is what another woman is praying to God for.

Hi Stella,
I wanted to post my comments on yesterday's chronicle,but unfortunately for months now I have not been able to comment on your blog (phone ish).It's a bit lengthy,PL bear with me.
Poster I will advise you to run as fast as you can from that guy, because he doesn't love you,or even if he did he is a coward and in future if you guys end up together he will always take the easy way out, this advice is coming from a lady who has walked this exact same path you are on.

I met my baby daddy 2011, started dating 2012, became exclusive 2013,got engaged 2014,in total we dated 4years before it all started,in this 4yrs he made me feel like without me he couldn't breathe,I mean we were soooo close,if I as much as frown,he won't sleep well till am smiling again,I thought I was the luckiest girl alive,now we were engaged we met both families,all was going well, trouble started when it was time to fix a date,no date was ever OK for him,he kept insisting I get a job first before we get married, that should have been a red flag for me seeing that I was a hustler,I didn't sit waiting for any man to pay my bills,I sold everything, from human hairs,to designer perfumes,to lingeries,to Jewelry, anything just to make ends meet while I waited for God to pick my call for a 9-5 job.

Back to my gist I agreed to hold on till I got a job ,gosh I was in love,at that point I saw him as husband,there was nothing I wouldn't have done for him, and so we did the do,I got pregnant,I was so happy,I felt he would be over the moon,I mean you should see him with my nephews and coupled with him always saying he can't wait to have mini mes.lol

So I broke the news to him over the phone as he wasn't in town this was my first time ever getting pregnant in my life I was soooo happy,I was already feeling my baby's imaginary kicks,my baby was 6weeks then,I would hold my stomach and make promises to my innocent child,how I was gonna love,spoil and protect it *cries* ....Hmmmm

Lemme not derail so I told baby daddy,he didn't believe asked for test results,I snapped and showed him,he was quiet on phone then he said OK,I will call you back...Wow that was not the response I wanted o,told bestie, she said to chill he s probably in shock,I said OK o

Next day he called and said shey I know the responsibilities involved in taking care of a child,that he wasn't ready for it..Just like that,told him I would that there is no problem.he started shouting,I should take it off,he begged, threatened,cried , cajoled,I cried and begged him not to make me do this,for where he was adamant, and I was weak,that's how I killed my baby January 2015, after everything he came begging,long story short I forgave him,two months later I got a job,we fixed a date for intro,we got a house, furnished it , things were going fine,I took in again, this time I wasnt ready to hear anything,and he was smart enough not to even suggest it, without question we were keeping it,but thats how HE decided to put wedding preparations on hold, cancelled wedding,said his people weren't in support of our alliance,he has been doing all the preparations out of hope that they will come around,but unfortunately they are still adamant.

I was four months gone,I was always sick, my poor performance at work due to constant illness I lost my job,dats how I became at his mercy till date...No marriage,no job , waiting every month end for the peanuts he sends to take care of his child,oh I wish I can throw the money in his face,but I can't ,am desperately looking for a job though,as my son is 8months already,he still acts like we are in a relationship,but that ship sailed a long time ago, I pray for a job or business night and day,so I can be rid of him totally...

So poster my darling we are humans and can be silly atimes,don't beat yourself too much,get a grip on your self,yes you killed your child that is the truth,but take advantage of the grace in Christ, don't let the devil cheat you of it,pray for forgiveness and move on, move on from your guilt and from that coward you trusted and betrayed you.
And for those of you always castigating and throwing stones at baby mamas,my Warri brothers will say NA who Dem catch be thief o, you flushed yours doesn't make you special,more decent,it only makes you a mother to dead babies.
