NYSC Medical Outreach To The Disabled Settlement Karunmajiji, Abuja.

The NYSC Batch B (Stream 1&2) 2016 and (Batch A Stream 1) 2017 belonging to the Reproductive Health, HIV AND AIDS Community Development Service Group carried out a medical outreach on the 27th of July, 2017 at the Disabled Settlement Karunmajiji, Abuja.

1. HIV Counseling and Testing was done
2. Blood Pressure Measurement was done to screen for hypertension
3. Blood Glucose Test was done to screen for Diabetes Mellitus
4. Hepatitis test to screen for Hepatitis
5. Malaria Parasite Test to screen for Malaria which is endemic in our country Nigeria
6. Mass deworming of children for helminthiasis was done
7. Free Consultation and treatment was done
8. Insecticide Treated Nets were also shared to all the women
9. Men clothings were given to the men.
The Emir and his cabinet were also attended to.
All these were covered by NTA Channel 5, Abuja.

This Medical Outreach was led by the President Dr Lawal Saliu

And the Vice President Dr Nwaejike Vivian Ijeoma.
