I found this comment inside Thursdays in house News and thought to bring it up for more reading and possible responses..most of you instead sending chronicle,post and no one really responds,na una sabi.
Those of you who have chronicles,instead of posting in in the comment section of another chronicles post,why dont you send it in?Not fair to wanna take someone else's space yeah?
My bros wife earns 300k+ and bro earns exactly 50k.But he gets change sometimes from work. 10k here, 2k there sometimes 20k+ and these monies are not regular. He is in debt cos he has to borrow for house feeding, for school fees cos wife insists on a 50k fees for a 1 year old and a 3 year old. So every 3 months, he has to struggle to pay 100k each term.Even if she buys one indomie, she writes it down and makes sure she collects it back. 2 issues triggered this writeup.
She had to pay 100k fees this term and on the very day her husband took his salary, she demanded it, insisted on a transfer and it was done. So bro had Nada. I am on a visit so I give him 1k ,2k Here and there. What happens when I leave cos next month she will take the balance fees.
Secondly bro got a job for 170k. But with thus job he cannot go drop her at work everyday, pick the kids at school daily (two times actually cos both kids close at diff times) then go back to work, sign out then go pick wifey up. He sometimes wait until 7pm before she closes. She vehemently opposed the new job asking who will be dropping and picking her from work. The kids school has a school bus and kids can be dropped off at home.There is the help who is always at home. She refused.
She can take okada 100 naira to work and back home. She can also drive their car to work and drive herself back cos bro will take public transport to the new job but she refused so he declined the job.
I saw him sitting in the car that night through my bedroom window. I went out and he was crying.He didn't stop been though he saw me standing there. I went back inside and madam was watching zee world without a care in the world.
The most painful part is that bro resumes work at 9 and she resumes at 7. He has to wake up early and go drop her at work, drop the kids at school then sit in his car waiting for 2 hours to enter His office.
He leave s work at 2 pick the baby, drop her at home then back to work then back to school at 4 to pick the son home then rush back to the office to sign out then go sit in front of his wife's office.
She only eats and sleep. Doesn't wash, cook, clean or do anything in the home except beat and scream at the teenage maid. Her kids sleep with this maid cos she can't stand their disturbance at night.
I want to have a word with this woman. Should I? She is supposed to be born again...well she is for the 3 hours church lasts on Sunday.
Bro is born again, and the very very quiet type.
I trained him in uni cos we are from a poverty stricken background. I am hurting that my bro is hurting.
Sis in law does not take care if her parents or siblings cos among them she is even the poorest that's they are all made. I hear her complaining to her parents and siblings that she is the one running the home.her family knows when she buys Garri.
I am sorry for this long epistle but I need advice on how to handle this before I leave. Her mum and female siblings control and Lords it over their husband's.just found that out.

Those of you looking for love that come here posting that you hardly go out,you do not have friends and do not attend social functions..How exactly are you supposed to find love?You are waiting for a surprise knock on the door?stop watching too much movies..if you need love go out to places where you can meet someone and stop feeling as if you too ugly,too poor or not good enough
Love will not find you if you hide indoors all day...Make friends,go out in groups to movies and weddings and events...look nice,plant a smile on your face and watch what happens

ReplyDeleteI lost mum she died of breast cancer in 2012. A woman with confarm bathroom slippers breast all of a sudden developed breast cancer like play like play. It was a spiritual attack anyway from my step mamas them.

He also didn't marry her for money cos when he married her, she didn't earn much until she changed jobs to a better coy about 5 Years ago and started earning this much.
Bro has always been weak when we were growing up. He hardly talks, never quarrels, has never fought He is just ice water.
Wifey talks to her mom everyday for at least 30 mins before she goes to bed. A little bird whispered in my ear that her mum doesn't cook for her dad. Her mum insults and embarrasses her dad on a daily basis so her dad only comes home to sleep.
I have left their house today back to base . I didn't say anything to bro or his wife. Decided against it. Let them continue to carry their cross ...I will keep praying on the side. Thanks everyone.
