Oh happy day!
How are you feeling today?Yesterday i wrote Wednesday instead of Thursday in house news and got a lot fo inbox and outbox notices from my darling BVs...Thank you all, I was traumatised!
Thank you to everyone who droppd a message for Waju, to those who asked questions, she wont answer you........just mourn with her and stop asking those silly questions please....
I just called her and she sounded weak and said she is scared of the future without her child that is gone.I just told her to live for the ones around her and to think positive....
She is off work for now...Thank GOD for Bosses who understand what pain is....
Waju is one of the blessing God brought my way on this blog , I have never encountered anyone like her before, her paitence, love, understanding and uncomplicated aura humbles me......
Lets pray for her to be fine and back commenting again soon..

NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS
I was in a tricycle last week when we saw a pregnant woman trying to mount a motorcycle. I must confess, she was wearing a tight dress that looked quite uncomfortable, and I was still wondering why she had chosen to wear something like that when one of the women in the tricycle started raining abuses on her, saying she had no business dressing that way.
I quickly cautioned her and reminded her that a pregnant woman’s body is usually for two: herself and the baby, and women always wants to feel really comfortable during this period and perhaps, she has limited options for her wardrobe, she could be unable to afford maternity clothes. And honestly, that is very possible because things are not exactly rosy for everyone these days.
She agreed with me, and I ended up telling her about a 19-year-old girl I became something of a big sister to during my NYSC days.
When I met her, she was pregnant and didn’t have a single decent dress to wear throughout her pregnancy. I had to buy some fairly used clothes for her so she could have something comfortable to wear.
I eventually completed my service before she gave birth, but she never stopped calling me to thank me for what I had done for her. She continued calling until I eventually lost the number and changed to a new phone number
I am reminded me that we don't really know what people are going through.
Sometimes, we look at someone and immediately judge their appearance, choices or circumstances without knowing the story behind them. What looks like a poor choice to us might actually be the best option available to that person at the time.

Hmmmmm prregnancy will make you need new shoes and new clothes and if you cant afford it, you would have to manage and the management is not something that anyone wishes for...........
Here is my tip......Once you get marrid and you know its getting to time that you wanna start making babies, if you dont have money, just buy a lot of cheap materials and make lots of oversized dresses and boubous.....Thank me lerra...

ReplyDeleteEach time I remember the sad news of BV WAJU daughter, my entire mood shuts down and I become instantly sad and that affects everything I am doing, so it’s even more sad to imagine what you her mother or even those who knew her personally will be going throughπ’π
ReplyDeleteAnd it brought back the sad memory of how I also felt almost 15 years ago when our neighbor lost her daughter, who was a very bright girl on children’s day, she swallowed a huge meat during their children’s day celebration party at church and it choked her because no one present could perform an “Heimlich maneuver” for her and when she was still fighting for a chance to breath, the people present in church then as we heard started praying for her instead of rushing her to a chemist or hospital, we were home when the sad news just came, and I never recovered because she was so bright and smart, always happy to show me her score sheets from assignments or exam and I always called her “know-know mama” and on that children’s day, she happily recited all she was to perform and play at church since I said I wasn’t coming to watch her and 2 other younger sisters, then I always blamed myself as well as my sisters who she also invited, but we were home watching Nollywood home videos instead and I always said if only I went, maybe I would have carried her & ran for help or something, it’s just so sad every now & then when I see her younger sisters all grown now and I always remember her for how playful & smart she wasππ
Life is just somehow abeg & this hurts but please BV WAJU be strong for your kids & family, we all love & will continue to keep you in our prayers ππ»
