A Cry For Help From Slavery.

   ''Good Day stella,

I will like to bring to the attention of the general public and agencies about a company called Royal power owned by an indian.
The company is situated at Victoria island and deals with installation ,maintenance of inverters and solars. The company has a lot of client which includes bank, telecomms, government parastatal and private individuals.

My husband works with the firm as maintenance engineer, lives at ikorodu and is been paid 40,000 with no retirement scheme or HMO policy. A couple of month ago, some Labour union came to inspect the firm and the organisation lied to them that they pay their staff 150,000. the staff go through verbal abuse and also work for longer hours including weekends and cant complain for fear of been sacked, pikin and wife dey house ooo.

My husband is a graduate with experience in Telecoms& power generating companies and we have children which we cater for,I will really be grateful if anyone can help to bring the attention of the necessary agencies to these and also assist me to secure a better job for my husband''

Na wah... these Indians cannot just come into Nigeria and boldly practice slavery if the government is not encouraging them!
This inhuman treatment has really got to stop.
Its time we as Nigerians either chase them out or force them to treat us right....This has really got to stop!

  4. I guess there is no Workers' Union in Nigeria. Isn't there a way some people in this firm can come together to let the Labour Union know what is going on there? Alternatively, he needs to start searching actively for another job.

  5. I tire o. I"m based in the US and went to Nigeria a few years back. I was at Federal palace hotel and an Indian woman saw me in the bathroom and would not wash her hands on seeing me. So I said to her with the American in me "You better muthfriggin wash your hands right now" she first stared like I was an alien and I guess realized this one dey kolo. She then quickly washed and left. I was so mad. I said to her in america you aint shit but no be your fault na my people carry una like gold.
My cousin lives by the indian school in ilupeju and all the time you will hear naija people saying oga. I'm like are these people for real. Poverty no good o.

  7. dirty smelly Indians always like to prove anywhere they find themselves outside their country but once you put them where they belong, they'll sit up
no one gives a rat ass about them in the US, infact the way people avoid them in stores is funny, they wont even look u in the eyes, always looking down (they always have ulterior motives anyway)
they always have this feeling that they are white too cause of their hair and color but fa fa fowl, chinese is even better than them
report their sorry asses to the right authorities and lets do the vaswani, chargoury we did for them years ago, their poverty mentality from their country hardened them to make them feel you have to suffer for every penny they pay you
    dang wicked and cheap people!

  8. Please don't blame the Indians...we need to learn to assign blames to our corrupt government and system...these Indians have helped in securing jobs to those who needed one...even though I don't support their system but what has the government offered us..rather they spend time stealing our money and making us suffer when we try to vent out...it is well sha, I know God will take control....

  13. Blame a useless government that cannot enforce something as simple as minimum wage. Even High school students earn more weekly, where I live, during holiday jobs.

So is there no way your husband or you can get in touch with the labour union that was lied to?

  14. APARTHEID and RACISM is widespread in Nigeria. But ours is the weirdest, most despicable and most mind-boggling form of apartheid. It involves Nigerians discriminating against their fellow citizens to please and favour white-skinned foreigners; Asians such as lebanese, indians, syrians and lately chinese. You need to visit some factories and companies owned by these people and see how Nigerian workers are enslaved and treated like scum right here in our own country enthusiastically assisted by Nigerian personnel managers and similarly designated Nigerian staff. And Nigerians dare not step out of line in these asian countries, they will be made to pay dearly for it. The slavery mentality of the 16th century still continues. These foreigners know that our rulers are slaves to money therefore they make friends with them the police inclusive, and give them money so that they turn a blind eye while their subjects are enslaved. The government will not do anything, its either Nigerians continue to live as cowards or we rise up to free ourselves.
