Emeka Ike’s Secondary School Sealed by the Court....Oh dear!

Emeka Ike must be really sad at the moment........The secondary school he allegedly invested a whooping N200million into has been sealed and venue sealed!....Big disgrace.

On Friday 24th January 2014, the school he runs with his wife was shut down by the court after a court battle...the case had been in court since the school's (St Nicholas College) establishment in 2005.

According to reports, the actor was battling for ownership of the school property until he recently lost the case.
Emeka allegedly refused to pay money to the property owners and he and his wife who run the school were subject of various allegations for the past five years.

Some of these allegations include none payment of salaries for six months, employing unqualified teachers to cut costs, increasing the tuition fees and not rending to the dilapidated properties in the schools environment.

There were too many hiccups to contend with and last week under instructions by the court, the school was taken possession of and sealed.

Some of the furniture, air conditioners and school buses were taken by the court, while other dilapidated items were left outside the school premises.

The premises is now under lock and key-Sealed!

This is a big loss to the actor,i hope he learns from this the next time he wants to invest.

  5. Actresses buy cars and build houses, actors get evicted from their rented houses. Do they act the same nollywood or do actresses have more business sense than actors? SMH for our actresses.

  9. 200mn where?

Who invests 200mn on a rented property?

If he was so interested in protecting his investment, he would have reached an amicable solution with the property owner, instead of throwing around arrogance as he always does.

  14. Commenting and concluding on the basis of the above press snippets is unrealistic. Until the full court papers are assessed and reviewed..this remains an outlier. He has at least tried to invest and earn money honestly, however if there were errors along the way, he now has to correct them. Life is full of ups and downs!
