PHCN And The Black Out Issue

I thought they said the light problems in Nigeria is better now?......huh?

PHCN should please know that there is total black out in some parts of Lagos....places like Mangoro,Cement,Agege and some parts of Ogba have been in total black out for one month.......This totally sucks!

When PHCN was privatized,we thought light issue in Nigeria would be a thing of the past instead it seems to have gone from bad to worse.

How are people who own small businesses which depend on light supposed to survive?
To make matters worse, whether you have had light or not, they still send you bills which if you do not pay,you should forget seeing your light come on in this lifetime or the next.

This is unfair ooooh...and some poiticans will start their campaigns with promising heaven on earth?

Whoever this concerns should look into it whilst they bow their heads in shame.

If it is to copy laws that do not concern Nigeria, they will be the first to pass the bill.
Senators should pass a bill banning PHCN from stopping the flow of electricity unless it is an emergency!.

I have said my bit......Nigeria is so rich, yet so poor!...what an ambiguity! #yimu

Do we still have phcn in this country? Well, in my area, we can still boast of 6 hours electricity in a day.

  8. Nigerians, PHCN is no more cann't you pple call on the new investors to tell us how they have gone.
The problem is the government who will announce huge sum of more for the then PHCN and come back to spend the money. If care is not taking government will do same to the new TCN by carting away money allocated to it now is time for election. NIGERIANS watch out for these politicians.....

    1. Vote a man that says "corruption isn't our problem". Vote for a man who, instead of fishing out and prosecuting the cabal in the oil sector, as his former boss was about to do, would rather remove subsidy of petrol in order "for us to fight these people together". Vote for a man who takes an average of 7 to 9 months in signing into law bills that have been deliberated on by the National House of Assembly. Vote for a man who has no track of the amount of lives lost to boko haram.."you need to update your statistics"(a reply to sahara TV reporter who claimed 3000 have died as a result of the insurgency). Need I say more? Enough said. Vote for the man from Otuoke if you desire backwardness and slow progress. Vote for insecurity assurance; 2015.

  10. Do u blame d politicians?. Is it not dis same nigerians dat will do t-shirt and start running up and down during election and hailing a criminal?. Is it nt d same ppl dat say, am PDP, am APC, am for ANPP? So if PDP brings a horse and says dats der candidate I swear ppl wil vote. Laws ar created for d poor while d rich does wateva. Afta d anti-gay bill I sat in my house and laffed @ nigeria. Y so much buzz about dat bill? It wudnt put food on d table, it wudnt bring light infact dat bill does nothing. It only makes dis gay ppl smarter in deir deeds and also have reason to fly abroad. Bur we were hailing dem like dev done sumtin of great importance. Let me stop here joor my beans is still on fire. No light so nah charcoal I dey use. Make nobody yab me oh. ~ JOHN OTEKE~

    1. May d Good Lord Bleizzzzzz U!!! The anti- gay bill left me speechless o I can't lie. Is that the way forward? The next step to progress? I live in Lekki and our own light is like a game of roulette...we can have good light (being light overnight and dassall for like 5days) and for that we have conditioned ourselves that a week to a month of no light shall surely follow. Hiss anupam to all of them! The bill makers, bill passers, gen importers, diesel importers and so on...your individual HELLS await u.

  16. When I was little,I always assumed I would tell the next Generation how we suffered Epileptic power supply...its worse than ever now,so there would be no need! Come to think of it,it was so much better then.Clearly, there's a Mafiaso behind these outages.Statistically,Nigeria is the biggest buyer of Generating sets the world over! From Japan,China,Taiwan... They manufacture with us in mind.Who doesn't own a generating set?At all at all,na I better~ pass~ my ~neighbour poor man go get.its disheartening that when dirt~poor countries and war torn nations have uninterrupted supply,we the people of the limping~ self~ acclaimed Giant of Africa, are still yelling 'Up Nepa'! Fingers crossed,I hope this darkness that has reached a crescendo lately, is a play out of 'it has to get worse to get better'. I have given this joke of a Nation my deadline. Yes! I will be quitting for good sooner than later!

  17. Aunty SDK that is how they have not given us light in Rumuigbo/Iboloji Estate in Port Harcourt for almost one month now. we are really suffering and to make matters worse, they still come for Light bill checks.
The light problem in these areas are so bad because every other area see a little bit of light but because they claim that the people in Rumuigbo/Iboloji estate are APC people, they have decided to keep us in total darkness...we are not politicians, they should give us light abeg and stop been wicked..Amaechi's commissioner for Special Duties should please come to our Aid.

  20. People are sabotaging the systems! They are deliberately destroying gas supply so that it would like the privatization has failed. The discos only distribute power supply that has been generated and transmitted. If there is nothing to transmit, there is nothing to distribute.

  31. SHAME ON NEPA/PHCN

Brillmindz innovations is a company established to solve domestic problems. We all know that the world we live in today is full of domestic problems so the more problems you can solve the more independent you are and that is why we invented a device you can use with your 1kv inverter ,950va generator or any generator to power your element appliances like pressing iron, electric kettle, hot plate, toasting machine, cway machine, hair dryer and all other appliances ranging from 1000 watts to 1300 watts safely.

Brillmindz power optimizer enable you power all ELEMENT appliances from 1000 watts to 1300 watts (hair dryer, pressing iron, electric kettle, hotplate etc) with your 1kv inverter or any Generator(even i pass my neighbour 950va gen) safely.

How to use: After starting your generator, plug the power optimizer to your socket then plug the iron, electric kettle or
hot plate to the power optimizer.

You can only plug the electrical appliances one at a time and it is user friendly. Do not plug an extension to the power optimizer. It has 3months warranty, although you will use it for over 3years.

Gone are the days when you wait for Nepa or PHCN before you use your appliances.
