Tall,elegant and brilliant Isioma Ebegbodi was murdered in cold blood by her Nigerian husband in Texas state of America on Saturday March 22, 2014.
She attended Queen’s College Yaba Lagos and later proceeded to University of Lagos to study Medicine.
She was until her gruesome murder a medical resident physician at Marshfield clinic in Texas.
What really went wrong between a 36 year old wife and her 63 year old husband?Was she suffering in silence until the tragedy happened?So many questions with limited answers.
Her husband, a 63-year-old Nigerian man was later charged with murder after he confessed to shooting her around 3 a.m on Saturday March 22,2014 in west Harris County, Texas USA.
Martin Ebegbodi went to a neighbor’s house and asked him to call police after getting into a fight and then shooting his wife, 36-year-old Isioma Ebegbodi nee Unokanjo.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Department arrived at the house in the 19700 block of Youpon Leaf Way and arrested Ebegbodi.
Martin Ebegbodi and Isioma J Unokanjo were married on February 11, 2005 in Harris County .....Read more here

Eiya, may her soul rest in perfect peace. She must have just finished from med school as at the time she married him. He is eff'ing old mahn. Such an old man. May God forgive him. I wonder what kinda job he was pulling in the states.

Another close friend who has relocated back 2 Nig, also said she was suffering in d marriage and d guy had d blv, she USED him 2 achieve her academic dreams and wants 2 leave him! It was really really really sad! Co's pple that knew her vowed smfin(maybe poverty) pushed her 2 go 4 American hussy

He has asked d dota 2 leave d marriage severally but her mum is d greedy one here who wants her 2 remain in an abusive marriage. So pls,her dad was never poor n is still not poor.

But I believe by the time she found out so many things about the man, their problems escalated. But too late already. Wonder what will happen to her kids now. RIP Isioma

Female medical personnel abroad biko make una marry non Nigerians. I tire o. I have not met 1 happily married couple(with the wife being a med prac), I hope there are some. Our men have so many issues,there is no way anyone can say she pushed him. Someone is always pushing our men. E do Abeg. They do worse yet you don't hear of them being hacked to death, etc. But you push a naija man small, na to kill. Women o please raise men with a sense of accountability pls. Nah..ISioma did not come from a poverty stricken home...both of her parents are medical doctors..her siblings are in the UK...she married this guy because she loved him nothing more.. Yes he filed for her but she would have gone to the UK otherwise...
