Tribute to my Friend.

My name is Tosin,exactly a month ago I lost my friend.We were best friends throughout secondary school and inseparable until her death.



If you needed me ,she knew where I was.If a guy liked me,they liked us or vice versa.


It has been a very difficult one month for me.I see her all the time and she is constantly on my mind.She knew how much I loved her,but as we went to different universities I stopped saying just how much but death is always a reminder and very final.Ada came and helped me share my questionnaires for my final project and what I had been struggling with just was settled in under an hour.When she was coming to visit me , I will hide my bag and shoes but she will find it and laugh at me for trying and still take it.



I miss her spirit,she was full of life and there was never a dull moment.Throughout  our friendship that spanned for eleven years we fought twice and it was a disaster!lol.She was like my soulmate.She had a new best friend in her Uni but we were  sisters.A part of me is gone forever and it will never be replaced.A part of me misses my friend so much my tears have dried up.Ada Okoli my sister,my friend whom I could hide nothing from.


She always caught me wen I lied!lol.She will say Tosh Tosh!You have come again!Your death has changed me,quieted me,made me introspective and I'm taking account of my life.If I  had one more hug to say goodbye and say how much I love you,i will take it and never let go.God  has you now ,you are in good hands.He will cuddle you .

I'll be missing you everyday and as you are laid to rest soon,find peace.Gone but never forgotten......Ada Ada......Adaora Okoli.

For those who have best friends,lovers,sisters,family....you never know when death comes knocking.Love them something fierce.Every day is a gift from God.

RAda died in an auto accident on her way back to school.

    Tosin i know exactly what you are going through, on the 14th of March i lost my best friend n sister....she was my maid of honour on my wedding. In my country Zambia we bury after 2-4days atmost its so painful i know, i had to take some time off work just to mourn, i would close my eyes and see her!!!I hv cried n cried and believe me because of her death i have learnt to trust God even more..God is ur strength dear..be blessed!

      So sad she went to NNSS OJO, I remember just after I finished secondary school and we lost shola Adeyemi in an accident. It was the most painful loss of my life. I see her in my dreams almost every night. I still have her letters she wrote me from school. Last year was no good for nnss students either we lost quite a few.     Pele dear!Take heart!See we are all going to die one day,the time just differs.i empathize with you. I lost my friend in 2005 and up till date it's like a sore that's healed on the outside(that took years) and still hurts real bad on the inside if I let it.i have to not think about it else I cry.
    You can only take heart,and if you keep seeing her inform your pastor so he can pray separation prayers for you. same used to happen to me.it was as if I should join her but my dad quickly stepped in..Not good for dead and living to relate. Soultie must be broken ok.

    So touching I have a best friend that is my name sake we share eventing in common even our nick names . In short we have most things in common. Same phones etc and I can imagine how it feels.to loose such a person OMG take heart my dear I shed tears reading this piece.and my heart was beating so fast coz .I can't imagine going through such pains rip Ada God loves you more

    I like d part u said appreciate loved onesn lost a friend I spoke with on d 12 of April only for him to die on d 13 of April, I still ve him on my bbm list, still ve our last text message which reads "God bless you too" he was so nice, with him I knew how difficult it was to lose a friend... just sad that Heaven couldn't wait for his beautiful soul, may ur friend n mine find peace with God Almighty. Perpetual light shine upon all whom we've lost.

    It's so scary d way young people are dying these days. Not to be a prophet of doom, but it's only gonna gget worse.
    The only way out is being confident of eternal life.
    To live is Christ and to die is gain should be one's daily opium.
    I get scared everyday. Bomb blasts, strife, moral decadence, DEATH! everywhere...
    Are u guys not scared?!
    Can't u see or feel this impending doom?!
