A Chronicle Of Blog Visitor Narratives.

A problem shared is a problem half solved!..

Some of you objected to my placing several stories alongside the other but I am sorry the chronicles is here to stay..instead of posting these stories several times during the day,i post once For each one you have an advice or a word for you can say #N1 or #N2 or N3 or #N4.N is shortened from Narrative.

NARRATIVE NUMBER 1

PINNING THE PREGNANCY ON SOMEONE ELSE...
Hi Stella,i have always been a fan..i need your advice and the advice of your readers out there because I am very confused.I am a young girl,a student in my early 20's and currently pregnant for someone I once considered a soul mate.

This guy practically denied me after being with him for almost three years, gave reasons like we are not compatible and other weird talks,my world almost came to an end but I knew suicide was not an option because I knew this is a phase, meanwhile there is this guy that has been pleading with me to get married to him, although he's not financially stable.

The problem is not about the money but the fact that I don't love him so I turned down the request although my friend (i have just 1) said I should accept to secure my child's future, but I consider marriage to be a mutual and lifetime commitment.i can't seem to forget about the father of my child though I have tried to pray to God to give me the heart to forgive and forget becos I

was too committed and thought it was the best time of my life.
I had my flaws too but I always knew that nobody is perfect in life.my parents try to send me little money because they are not really financially stable.i have decided to quit school after delivery at least to look for a job to take care of my baby, but I know it won't be easy.
Should I accept the proposal and remain unhappy but give my child a father? Please help me out because I think about this day and night.thank you so much Stella and God bless SDKers!

*Errm the only way you can pin it on him is if you were already sleeping with him before the pregnancy..hmmmm.
Please forget about pinning that baby on the wrong father.be honest with him and tell him what happened and let him decide what choices he can live with.

NARRATIVE NUMBER 2
ABDUCTION ALERT TO ABUJA RESIDENTS

Please Stella, help keep blog visitors at alert especially Abuja residents, everyone should be very careful while showing empathy for strangers and inside public transport.
my kid sis was traveling down from school to see our sister who is married and stays there too, the bus she entered stopped at a bus stop, a guy came down, trying to carry a carton behind, the driver started questioning him, "how come he didn't let him search the carton before putting it, and now he wants to carry it, that if him the guy doesn't tell him what's inside or allow him to search the carton, him the driver will not let him carry it".

As the interrogation lingered, the guy burst into tears and started begging that the carton contains millions of Naira which belongs to the oga he served for many years in Kano who has refused to settle him, he then made away with the money when he was asked to go lodge it in.

He went on begging the driver not to report him because already the driver was threatening fire and brimstones, the man in front then intervened that the driver should consider the guy, that a lot of boys pass through hell while in service and since the oga is an oil guru like the guy said let the boy just settle everyone in the bus and they will let him go.. The boy was still crying, nawa oo...50 minutes passed, still on the same matter, my sister vexed and wanted to leave, the boy held her back and begged in our dialect "please my igbo sister don't leave me alone here, i don't trust these people"...

Sister having pity on him, stayed back and asked them to please let the guy go that she was in a haste. The woman close to my sister started suggesting where they can go to and share the money without anyone seeing them.....as they were going, sister got to where she wanted to alight and asked the driver to stop her, driver increased his pace, and she was mad like stop let me come down na, the man in front and other passengers started asking her to chill that does she know how much involved and how it can change her life, she said she wasn't interested, and was still asking them to stop let her come down but the driver never did.

Whilst she was shouting and asking to be stopped, miraculously my call came into her set, and she pretended to be talking to a police officer (myself was even confused as she was screaming into my ears and calling me sir and saying things i didn't understand, hian, me hung up oo until she called later in the day to narrate it all.Omg!) that was how the driver quickly stopped and asked her to get down then sprang off.. Already she was in the middle of no where, thank God she managed her self out to a place she knows as Wuse which was totally off her route... Then she Thanked God for her freedom, and began a new journey.
Wow i thank God for her.I have been sent this same story by blog visitors whom it happened to at different times. The essence of posting, please read it and once its about to play out in front of you, please quickly do something!you can even start acting mad.all these ritualist's fear mad people.lol

NARRATIVE NUMBER 3
BLOG VISITOR FEEDBACK CONCERNING SNOOPING ON HIS PHONE

Hi Stella. How is the family?  Mine is great.  This mail is actually long overdue but its better late than never.Sometime ago I sent you an SOS mail about my hubby's randy nature. Well,I am glad to say he has changed a lot for the better. I had a heart to heart chat with him and am sure he felt my pains. If he has stopped chasing women Stella to be honest I don't know and I don't care becos I am enjoying my marriage now.

Our love life, sex life and even social life is coming back to normal. I hope it stays that way and I have promised never to go through his phone again. I really appreciate you for posting my mail back then becos I got a huge relief after telling my story. At least its better than sharing with a 'best friend'.

God bless you all and Thanks Stella. My greatest hope is to meet you some day.

NARRATIVE NUMBER FOUR
SISTER IN LAW BROUHAHA - DID I DO THE RIGHT THING
Dear Stella .
Please kindly post this for me please.
My sister in-law decided to relocate from Kano with her two children to our location due to the unrest there. Before she moved she sent some money to us to get them an apartment of which the money wasn't sufficient and my husband had to augment. They relocated and stayed with us to enable the landlord put final touches to the place.
My husband said they will stay with us for a few days before they move to the place we got for them ( self contain). All was set in the house for them to move, but after two weeks my SIL decided to travel to the village leaving her two kids with us (aged 15 and 14-girls). She came back after one week making their stay with us three weeks, only for her to come back and inform me that she is travelling back to Kano without the kids for a month leaving the kids with me.
I am a banker, I leave early in the morning and return late, my husband travels regularly and is rarely around. Am going on vacation early next month and I will be travelling. I explained to her that I am not comfortable having her kids in my house when am not around and moreover this is out of the initial plan and I don't like being taken unawares.
I am a very private person and i value my space. Coupled with my job I am also schooling which leaves me with little time for myself and my hubby.
Who is going to supervise the kids when we are not around and to crown it all we have a very randy gate man.
She moved out to the apartment we got for her by the time i got back from work the next day.
Please did I do wrong in any way to have explained to her that she can't leave the kids with me? Thanks!
Randy gate man?please sack him already before he gets you into trouble. As for your Sister in law,did you explain to her with the best words?if Yes abeg dont mind her, some people like to take some things for granted and stretch it..Go over to visit her with some foodstuff and try to find out if she is warm towards you,if not try to explain your stand again and show some love before you leave.
Some sister in laws are so wicked and plot the downfall of a wife but just do your bit and leave the rest.

    2. I'm ashamed to say this but my lil sis (she was 19 at the time) actually fell victim to this 419ers, they succeeded in collecting 14k from her, thank God she wasn't so boxed up and we found out early enough or they would have collected more. Now she's wiser

    3. If you ever find yourself in a bus and the issue of 'wetin dey that carton or box when you carry' comes up just walk out quietly from the bus. Never ever put mouth in their discussion or volunteer to share the money with anyone (why should you even think of doing this). I thought this is a trick every Nigerian should know by now. It is well.

My mum has entered a vehicle like that, exactly the way it was told here, that's exactly the way it happened to my mum, please all blog visitors should be Warned when things like that begin to happen, in my mum's case, I can't even start narrating what happened here, it was hell for hell, but thank God she was alive, she survived it and what she lost in the incidence was a whole lot, but at least she has her life that's the most important thing. Even though she has still not fully recovered emotionally, its really traumatising. Thank God for the live for the young lady.

  18. Narrative #2 is one of d oldest tricks in d book

    ReplyDelete
  19. For the first one, i'll advise you do as Stella said. Talk to him, telling him you are already pregnant. See what happens next.
The last one, sister's in-law are something else. I don't know if you have kids of your own. I didn't read it. Just go to her and explain to her. Some of them, no matter what you do, they are never satisfied. Go to her to clear your mind. All the best.

    ReplyDelete
  20. These chronicles shouldn't be more than 3 nah.

1- How are you securing your child's life by marrying a man you feel nothing for? And he's not rich. Abeg leave men for now. Forget about pinning anything. Concentrate on having a healthy baby and a means of livelihood. You can take time off school but don't drop out completely o

2- Is your sister a learner? This is one of the oldest methods of 419. She shouldn't have waited to listen to the story because some other them hypnotise their victims.

3- Moral: Communication is the blood on a relationship.

4- I suspect you were rude in putting your thoughts across to your SIL, hence your guilty conscience. If you were really travelling, I doubt she would want her kids to stay on their own in your house alone. I hope you were not unduly nasty to them in their time of need. Afterall it was just for a little while.

Poster thank God your sister is not a greedy someborri ooh..when I was taking public transport eh..i hear wiiii..Sometimes they will even push me out of a moving vehicle when I don't cooperate..lol God pass them

Am happy your marriage has bounced back dear..abeg enjoy ooh. Is a beauriful thing ... Don't let your mind wander too much, just enjoy the moments..And commit your family into God's hands..that is all that maras.

    Last Story

Errm please you have tried for her...I don't think you did the wrong thing abegii..you helped her find a place, you guys also supported, then housed them right?weldone...am happy she even moved on her own ..shows she's not evil sef...please buy things and go and see them..don't even mention anything again,is not necessary joor..your house, your rules..just make sure they have foodstuffs to tide them over...rice,semo,yam,tin tomatoes,spices..etc..Go with all smiles..greet them well, chat with them..buru akpa gi naba..shikena!

    2. @queen bee. She should put her life on hold because of her SIL? If the kids are old enough to be on their own, then their mother should leave them in their own self contain! You call her selfish without walking in her shoe? You are either not married or a relation staying with people that is why you cussed her out! I believe the SIL want to stylishly leave her children with them because they are well off and don't have children yet.

N3 - you snooped and now claim to feel better... at the end of the day point still remains, your decision to snoop isn't going to make you leave your marriage, why snoop in the first place.... #IDontJustGetIt

  39. #N1: No need flogging a dead horse. If you've been following this blog for a while, you should know the position of majority of BVs on premarital sex and abortion. Most of the answers and advice you seek are already contained in your narrative. If you decide to marry this man based on whatever reasons you might have, please be honest about the pregnancy. It will be selfish to pin it on him. Finally do not enter an institution as sacred as marriage on the foundation of lies 'cos it will swallow you.
#N2: The lies in the story of this narrative can be smelled a 100meters away. Don't even stay to listen, from the first sentence just get down from the vehicle. Don't be a victim of greed. Thank God for your sis.
#N3: Communication is key in any relationship. I pray the change is permanent.
#N4: You did the right thing by expressing yourself, so long as you did it rationally. Don't worry she will come around.

  42. Narrative 2: this 419 strategy might be new in abuja but its been going on in Lagos for ages now....both the driver n passengers are all together in the 419 biz and the money is all fake...their clients are greedy pple...Thank God for your sister's life.
Narrative 4: you've already taken your decision so why are you regretting it??...the advice you'll get here will have no effect on the situation right now....would have asked you to allow the children stay with if they are the obedient type....cos by the they go to school and come back by 4pm, they'll probably spend only 2hrs @home b4 you get back from work...I don't see how that will affect you...and they'll even help out with chores @home...anyway, the deed is done, just know that you have one enemy @hand.

#N1....The mistake has been made already, pls be strong and take care of your baby. But try and inform the family members of your ex-boyfriend about the pregnancy.I believe they will accept the baby sooner or later.
As per the new guy, I dont think you shld rush to marry him or anyone just bcos u re pregnant especially when u dont love.I think you shld give urself sometime, allow ur feelings for whoever you want to marry to grow though its better you marry some1 that loves you more than you love him.
    #N2....Thank God for your life.
    #N3...Somebody shout hallelujah!
    ##N4...Yeah..Stella has spoken.

  45. N 2,was once a victim too but morning prayer and bb msg to my sister saved me.
Came out from the bank on Area 11 n entered a non-colored taxi along.
One bleached luking woman claiming to speak french was sitted in front while I sat behind wt a male passenger who later dropped.
After a while d bleached woman(B.W) dropped and brought out foreign currency to pay the driver but d driver rejected the money n told her not to worry,
While d B.W took few steps ahead n d Driver drove slowly n called her bk,telling me dat it looks like the BW is stranded.N behold she played along, mentioned one company name and a strange addy that she supplied goods to them and wants to collect her money back.d driver told her d addy doesn't exist that she has been duped.
She now said she ve other goods she wants to supply b4 she goes bk to her country if we are interested in laptops and phones.that she wants to use the money from there to transport herself bk to her country.
My Response was "BW go to ur embassy,d will help u out"
The driver suggested some1 in Area 1 shopping complex that deals on electronic to her.
She turned to me and begged that please she doesn't trust d driver that I should pls accompany her,dat I look like a good person dat please I should escort her.
Driver called the person and while talking he cut d call saying he ran out of unit,I gave him my nokia phone to use n complete the call.
While talking he quickly handed over d fone to me to continue d call so police won't arrest him for talking on phone while driving.
As I was speaking,my nokia phone went off.
I immediately sent a bb msg to my sis telling her am helping some1 out cos she was waiting for me.
My sis called immediately(we spoke in my dialect) n told me I should drop immediately from d cab.
The BW woman started yelling that what language am I speaking n dat wat was am I saying bla bla bla.
I screamed @ d driver to drop me n when I alighted frm d car, u need to see the speed he took off with.
    Chei
I never believed I could be easily tricked cos I laughed @ a frn when it happened to her, telling her she wasn't smart enough.
Thank God d didn't get me

  46. @the one that PINS PREGNANCY; are you serious? Are you not the one that needs forgiveness for debasing your womanhood and opening your legs to a man that has not paid your bride price? Repent of your sins and believe and follow the Lord. Again; how can you settle an unhappy situation with a perpetually gravely unhappy one? You don't love him and you want to marry his under false pretenses? Hei do not wrap you life with lies because, you will yet lie again and again and sadness will become your lot. That road is deadly. Stella, you needed to be more objective in your advice to this lady; there is no basis for PINNING; it's evil.

Happy weekend my dearest SDK and other BVs pls do a post on inlaws, Stella. U would be dazed at people's experiences, some of us need help in handling them

  51. Poster#1,you don't love the guy according to you so don't marry him and don't pin another man's child on him. You are still young take care of yourself and baby first. Its not the end of your life but the beginning of a wise experience for you @ least till you finish school, you will lock your vajayjay and pretend to be an hermaphrodite till someone put a ring on it.

Poster#2,this the time for those 419 in dollar washy washy.(Sept-dec) have been a victim thrice,if you are in Abj,these are most of their routes, karimo, kubwa, life camp(no.1) berger, women center in central area. Beware even painted taxis are used and women involved too.

Poster#3 snoop doggy dog sister, thank God for bringing honey back in your marriage. Continual snooping will result in HBP and a dead heart. Na curiosity kill the cat.

Poster#4-you do not owe anybody any apology, you have to knock sense into inlaws' head at times.God told the man to leave his father and mother to cleave to a wife not an inlaw or any other person. That is your home, you have a right to decide what you want shikena. I have seen sista-inlaw beat the crap out of my pastor's wife becos of accomodation,my family friend lost her home and hubby to her 15yr old niece, her older sista brought and dropped in her house in a similar situation, little niece got preggo and told the aunty they have to share the husband becos she cannot do abortion so that she won't die, hubby accepted that sinz the child is his,he will marry her as second wife. Both of them threw my big friend and her two kids out of the house, when she confronted her older sister, she said there is nothing she can do becos her younger sista couldn't keep her home and husband so her brother inlaw must marry her daughter. Becareful who you accomodate in your house married women before you run to this blog and whine. There is a close friend of mine who's friend accomodates some female relations, the hubby sneaks out when he thinks the wife is deep in sleep and goes to their different rooms to cut clitoris and her step daughter in uni, hubby had her out of wedlock before he married current wife who came to live in Abj with them goes into her step brother's room to be fondling him, begging him to make love to her, thank God for the boy,he went to tell the mom when the pressure was too much.
Let your Sil and kids go mbok,it doesn't mean you are enemies, you gat to protect your fort, its a crazy world we have with some weirdos in it. Shine your eye and sack that horny gateman you have before he rapes you one day. Is that the only gateman in your area?

    1. Be upfront to everyone concern.

  56. N4: don't displease yourself to please others. It's better to let people know where you stand than to suffer inconvenience in silence.
She relocated with her kids and suddenly wants to go back to Kano for ONE MONTH! She was probably trying to move the girls into your home. By the time they stay for one month, school never start? Won't they go to school? She probably would have asked you and your husband to please help her get schools for them since she isn't around and one month will turn to one year. Again, it's good not to live with your husbands relations. They will tell the family how you breath and yawn.
Just go and visit them when you can and if she is rude, keep your distance. If you do, them go talk. If you no do, dem go still talk so......

  57. N1: try not to drop out of school. The sooner you finish, the faster you can get a descent job to sustain your kid and help your family. You can take the child to your mum, get a part time job and send her the money. DO NOT drop out of school. You may never have the zeal to go back and get that degree and the petty cash you will earn now, will be insufficient to carter for your child's needs as she/he gets older. Stay in school and zip up!

  58. N2: it's very old and rampant in Abj. Entered an unmarked cab some years back in Lagos on Ozumba Mbadiwe and the minute the driver asked the boy what was in the bag he put in the book my heart cut. I had heard the stories and my brother has encountered them in Abj. They took my bro to an uncompleted building and asked him to give them all the money he had. He told them he had money at home so they made him take an oath that he will die if he tells anyone and to return before 3pm that day. That was how he ran o.
So in my case, I didn't utter word but my heart was pumping so fast. The boy said it was his Oga's money. He ran away with the dollars from Kano. The driver started screaming that he would take him to the police while the lady in front said he shouldn't instead we should all share the money. I still didn't say a word, just kept praying for a chance go get out or attract someone's attention. They kept the charade going and when they decided to take adetokunbo to go and look for where to share the money, The other passenger and I (we entered at the same bus stop) started screaming to be let out. She too did not utter a word till that point. Na so they drop us zoom off o. Was quite shaken.
