Read And Be Encouraged.

I pray you find some consolation with these words...If it ministers to you that means someone went through what you are going through and the reason you can read this is because God has lifted them out of that situation.

Have a great Friday and Stay safe.....Your WORRIES are temporary.

    1. I'm trying to be encouraged but its not easy

If you are a secondary student (without connections) reading this, go and ask your headmaster for a refund of your school fees cos there are no white collar jobs in Nigeria. Use the money to launch your own spare parts shop.

If you're in the university and your CGPA is currently less than 1.0, don't feel bad, Nigeria's unemployment market is no respecter of GPA!!!

If you're CPGA is 3.5 and above, carry on with the midnight oil. The Lord shall be your strength in this labour market.

      If you are a parent reading this, our CVs are in the database of your company and you ignored us because;

      1. You don't want entry level applicants! 2. We don't have connections.
      3. You would rather employ your half sister's husband's nephew's girlfriend!
      4. You don't advertise your vacancies so that we won't see it and collect salary from your company's revenue. That's wickedness!

We are tired of remixing our cover letter and cv's in Igbo, Hausa and yoruba yet no reply from companies!

We are tired of waking everyday to trek from Ojota to Badagry to submit CV to gatemen of companies!
We are tired of having only kobos in our account!
We are tired of filling dormant career pages of companies!
Literally, we are professional corporate hunters cos all we do is job hunt!
If we are not working for your company, you are wrong!
Physically, our paperwork says we are inexperienced but spiritually, we are experienced hires.
Sirs and Madams, age and weight are not on our side!

WHO ARE WE? TWO SMART, UNEMPLOYED GIRLS! (FRESH GRADUATES OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION)
WHAT DO WE NEED? A JOB!
WHEN DO WE WANT IT? NOW!
THE INTERNET WOULD KNOW NO PEACE TILL OUR NEEDS ARE MET!

  10. My concern is marriage. So many bad marriages around that getting married seems like theres no point. All you hear of are complaints and a cheating husband. Please I beg you do a post on successful marriages (5yrs and more) and how the spouse was able to overcome challenges. Please no pray the problem away talk. I know prayer helps but I want practical solutions from people. The way I feel now I just might not get married

  18. Thanks Stella, this is so lifting especially when I've been in bed since morning crying my eyes out, am less than 8wks pregnant and I've had it tough, from vomiting to crazy nausea to nasty cold, then serious heartburn, to loss off appetite and irritating smell, I can't even make meals myself, I feel pathetic being in bed all day. I feel so helpless and confused. This is my first tho. What broke my heart this morning is my husband is even beginning to grumble, he probably sees me a lazy and useless. Na so e dey be??? I really wish I can help myself. Thnks for this message, it lifted my spirit.
May God grant the prayers of every woman here trusting God for a baby.

  19. I am trying not to be depressed and am looking up to God. Have you had a lecturer that singled you out to punish you? When he knows you are brillant he devises another means and says if you didn't make 75 percent attendance in a particular month of lecture and he excludes other months .Apparently you were not available in the chosen month for about one week what happens? You are punished and allowed to write a course which ordinarily takes 3 hours in 50mins. Sorry bout any typo...am ranting yeah. Am tired...this is evil. Fight against lecturer victimisation of students it's sad....
