We have always communicated but this is different.
I am 27years old lady and my man is 35years old. And we are talking of getting married next year. We met in church and he told me he wants to marry me. Initial, i was not interested but early this year, i decided to court him. He love me and i love him too. I have also found out that he is sincere,honest , envisioned, committed, caring, kind, and God fearing.
The problem is that he has a premature ejaculation and also weak erection. The weak erection and premature is somehow severe, he can have an urge without developing an erection. And when he developed an erection he can just go soft or just ejaculated within a minute.
I have come to love this guy and have braved other odds(like financial inadequacy , tribal difference ) and agreed to marry him. But i can't help but to worry what our sex life will be like when we get married. He also told me he have had infection in the past but he went to hospital and got treatment for it. He is very worried just as i am. I have not really had any sex life and i want to have a healthy and exciting sex life when i get married.
Please, what can be the "causer " of this problem and what can we do to have augment this problem. Can this problem also cause infertility?
What kind of lab test can he do to know what caused the problem? I also want to know the medical option/personnel that can buffer solution.

DeleteI lifted this from an earlier post on issues like this where I'd contributed my little effort. Pls read. Bitchplis (BOS) will complement this wit his own. Lol.
Premature Ejaculation (PE) is a result of an imbalance in d body system. This means sth is a cause and treatment would mean attacking d root problem. U should see a Doc wit ur hubby to diagnose d clinical disorder before treatment is initiated. Hypertension causes PE, High Cholesterol, stress n a host of other issues could b d CauseRS. So knowing wat it is will help on its mgt. But u can support him by cooking his meals wit plenty onions, garlic, ginger, nutmeg. Eating vegetables too help. Intro him into eating watermelon n chewing d seeds. Bananas, apples r rich in nutrients that supplies d Penis blood for a harder erection n stay power. U can make make 'Ukodo" (porridge) wit black plantain wit onions for him too. These foods r rich in zinc, iron n nitro. Tell him to make eating of walnuts too a habit. Let him look for any excuse to b chewing bitter kola often. Eating bananas wit groundnut say 30mins to action time delays ejaculation too. Tablespoons of pure honey in warm milk will keep him charged n energised too.
Apart from food, he should cultivate d habit of exercising say 3x a week. Jogging, and other aerobics will strengthen his heart. A good xes originates from a good heart. Kegel exercises will strengthen his erections n help him to hold back wen it's getting 'too sweet' cos he will b able to delay it till u r satisfied. Exercising will help wit solving cholesterol issues as well as reducing his HBP.
Breath Control. He should learn to control his breathing while at it. Breathe in deeply n exhale slowly will help to take off d pressure, diffuse stress n relax him for a longer stay.
Get into positions that will not b too sweet in d interim. U shud b in charge sometimes so u can control tinz when he starts to have that ugly look of 'Am cumming'. So u take a COMMERCIAL BREAK to kiss n do other tinz before u press RESUME.
Above let him b relaxed before d time. Don't put pressure on him to deliver. Anxiety breaks d dam n he would burst too soon. Compliment his efforts. That's rewarding him.

Sex is very important in a marriage although statistics show that less than 15% women reach orgasm through vaginal penetration. If your hubby to be is good in the act of foreplay ie clitorial stimulation and Cunnilingus then u should be fine. They have worked for so many women with PCOS and infertility in general. I don't know where they can be bought in Nigeria, that is if you reside in naija. I only know of Europe. Good Luck.

And please learn about Billings Ovulation method. The thing with PCOS is that you may not ovulate regularly but bet me that you do. If you educate yourself on how your cycle works, you can pinpoint that important period of ovulation even if it's once in a year.

DeleteTo the lady that suffers from PCOS, I am writing to assure you that it will not stop you from conceiving. I have the same issue and am a mum of two. My first was through IUI and the second was a natural conception. Both were delivered naturally. Just take pre conception vitamins while you are undergoing your treatment and it will be good to reduce your sugar intake and exercise. If you can buy the fertiaid supplement from amazon that will be really helpful, it has all the vitamins and minerals you will need including folic acid which is very important. I can totally relate to your anxiety, I once felt that way, I cried when my first and second IUI failed, I thought I won't be able to conceive until my gyno changed my hormonal medication to Menopur. It worked the first time I used it and I got pregnant. Relax yourself and don't be scared. PCOS doesn't stop you from getting pregnant and being the mother you so much dream of. I wish you all the best and I pray that God will go before you and perfect everything concerning your treatment and pregnancy. You shall come back next year to give us your testimony in Jesus Name, Amen. Try and google information about PCOS so that you can learn more about it, that is exactly what I did when the doctors in Nigeria were not explaining things properly for me but I was lucky to have travelled out of the country to get my treatment.

Or if u wanna fast forward it, try iui first.

ReplyDeleteI use LG washing maching with persil bio detergent or ariel and comfort fabric softener and they all wash very well. when kids have major stains, I soak immediately I remove and handwash. for stains usually, even if you keep them to handwash later its always difficult to wash away if you don't soak right away. washing machines wash good biko, forget all those stories jare. washing machine will help ease the stress for you, don't mind people and their talks. just separate light colours and dark colours when washing. Thats all.

2nd Poster: My dear do not fret! I was diagnosed with PCOS before I got married. After I got married, my gynae placed me on Metformin and follicle tracking. The first month I tried the tracking, I was told I didn't have any viable egg! lol! Voila! I got preggy that month!!!! I didn't bother with any other tracking, metformin or ovulation prediction. I just went with the flow. I have two gorgeous kids now!You will conceive. Just relax. take your follic acid and any other meds prescribed by your gynae.ongrats in advance.

ReplyDeleteAt his age it is doubtful it will be "cured". Perhaps some improvement can be got, but he will likely never be at the performance level of a 'normal' penis. At least you know all of this prior to marrying. You will have to decide from now what you can handle. You are still young enough to find another man, though another man means a another personality and different characteristics, it is something you will have to think long and hard on. You mentioned two other biggies along with his penis problems, financially he is not buoyant and cultural differences. You have very big decisions to make my dear.
ReplyDeleteYou wont be able to complain if you follow through with the marriage and there is no improvement. He was honest and upfront with you about his issues, so do not throw it in his face if you do marry him and still no improvement, you know what you are buying.
Pcos does not stop you from conceiving. Learn your ovulation dates and ask your GP or doctor to put you on metformin. I conceived naturally and I was diagnosed with PCOS. Keep praying and remain calm. The key is knowing your ovulation dates. Also if you have acces to Amazon. Order fertility monitor to help you track your fertile days.

The problem is a type of Erectile dysfunction that is solvable by change of lifestyle.
