    1. Is this really that big of a deal? He is not a christian, he is a guest at that church for that day. Whatever his motives are, they are known to God. I understand why this is so sensational, the political atmosphere is pretty tense and any gesture from opposing camps will be criticised harshly.

If we really want to keep sentiments at bay and analyse this critically, some so called Christians have no business occupying and warming the seats in Churches with the thoughts in their minds. Imagine 2 regular church members comparing notes on a girl they've slept with! Right in church while the sermon was going on, I turned to look at them in disbelief and guess what? One actually winked and licked his lips! Ewwwwwwww!

So, pray tell, assuming the office of the "Executive Assistant" of Christ, which do you think is the lesser of two evils? The visitor who probably thinks he is in order because he was warmly welcomed or the "christian brothers" who should know better? I'll imagine the inappropriateness of 1man wearing 5 caps in Church pales in comparison with Churchgoers exciting each other with tales of immorality while the sermon is ongoing, no?

Please, let's not lose sight of what is really important at the end of the day. ‎

    2. God Bless you my sister Ronalda. There is nothing Christian like about the modern day church goer. It's all for show. Let's not even talk about the arrogance of being better than the rest. Let's leave God to judge. One of the most important commandments in the bible states Love Thy Neighbour as Thy Self...hmm who is sinning against God now. .......I wonder

      Delete
    3. You are right Ronalda. But some churches follow strict principles regarding what you wear and shouldn't wear in the church premises.

Take for instance the white garment churches, you are not allowed to wear your shoes, and of cos, females have to cover their heads compulsorily unlike the pentecostal churches these days. Really, if the church allowed them then their prerogative. If they were asked to remove it and they refused, that's another ball game all together.

Yea the heart is what the Lord looks at not the show offs we put off outside. However protocols must be observed especially if u weren't forced to attend and you went out of your free will.

    1. @anon8:48, Jesus is the Saviour, the Alpha and Omega, the Son of the living God which Muslims don't believe. If you say you believe in Jesus Christ, have you accepted him as your Lord and Savior? Head knowledge of Jesus is not enough, even the devils believe in Jesus and fear him. Don't be always quick to curse out people.

What do we call fear of flying pls?.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Fear of flying is a fear of being on an airplane (aeroplane), or other flying vehicle, such as a helicopter, while in flight. It is also referred to as flying phobia, flight phobia, aviophobia or aerophobia (although the last also means a fear of drafts or of fresh air).[1]

Fear of flying may be a distinct phobia in itself, or it may be an indirect combination of one or more other disorders, such as claustrophobia (a phobia of being restricted, confined, or unable to escape) or acrophobia (anxiety or dread of being at a great height). It may have other causes as well, such as agoraphobia (especially the type that has to do with having a panic attack in a place they can't escape from). It is a symptom rather than a disease, and different causes may bring it about in different individuals.

This phobia receives more attention than most other phobias because air travel is often difficult for people to avoid—especially in professional contexts—and because it is common, affecting a significant minority of the population. Inability to maintain emotional control when aloft may prevent a person from going on vacations or visiting family and friends, and it can cripple the career of a businessperson by preventing them from traveling on work-related business

  51. @Bootylycious diva: Go to 1 Corinthians 11:7,read it if you have a bible and it will tell you a man is not to put on cap inside the church of God.But let me start from 1 Corinthians 11:6:"For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.
"1 Corinthians 11:7:"For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God:but woman is the glory of the man"
My brother the Gov.Putting on cap in the house of God is wrong,do not side something you did not get the fact from the Bible, the Word of God is Stead fast and to be obeyed if not you are bringing his wrath to your self and generation.God Bless you

You people are just petty and dogmatic. There are bigger issues. God will answer a sincere prayer regardless of head covering.

  54. this is my first comment ever on this blog.....

Muslims believe in Jesus Christ but not in the context of trinity or dieing for our sins, we believe in in him as one of the prophets of God....one of the problem we Nigerians have is that we do not read and most times talk proudly out of ignorance and pretend to be established authorities on what we do not have sufficient knowledge of..... back to the matter; this man's visit is just a mere political gimmick... naija!!!
