Chronicles Of HOPE -24

Giving up?Different challenges come in different ways but holding on makes us stronger than our challenges!

GOD'S WORD PREVAILED OVER DOCTORS REPORT.

I have come to the realisation that Life is a mystery and full of mysteries which the almighty has securely kept from man, of which mine is no exception.

From the age of 18 right from the onset of my menstrual circle I suffered a health condition which defied several medications (I experienced a heavy flow of 7 days twice every month). Several medical reports indicated that I was not ovulating and wouldn't be able to ovulate under such condition.

When I met my prince charming, he was all I desired in a husband. (he was loving, caring, paid attention to every details about happenings around me). I informed him of my challenge and we embarked on finding a solution to it, the doctors made me loose hope further as I was often told that ovulation / conception shouldn't be on my priority list as it was very very far considering my condition.

 My mother in-law stood against conclusion of our marriage rites/wedding insisting on a proof that am a complete woman, all efforts to convince and plead with her to soft pedal proved abortive. At that juncture I was left with 2 options;
To forfeit the marriage Or to dance to the tune of my mother in law.

I choose the later but was faced with the challenge of the doctors report. We intensified our efforts for a solution to which the doctors often prescribed series of medications and very painful treatments. I had series of failed treatments and medication, then I took the last test and was billed for another round of treatments and surgery. I went home with the result and turned to God in prayers with the doctor's report, I attended an annual program where I used part of the money for the treatment to sow a seed in faith for treatment. Miraculously few months latter my condition was reversed without the surgery or a single drug from the Prescriptions.

Latter in the year that I got pregnant my mother in-law passed on. Our registry wedding was to  take place a week after my mother in-law’s burial. The next day after the burial, by evening when I spoke with my finance, he complained of feeling some discomfort and would want to go to bed early, to which I agreed. Very early in the morning as was his norm he would call me for us to pray over the phone, but on that particular day his call didn’t come through.

The wedding date was indefinitely postponed and communicated to some guest s quoting unavoidable reasons, later my family was officially informed that he died of poisoning.

I cried my eyes out, counting my loss and steps backward, though the pregnancy was still in the early stage; to me an abortion was "never" an option (a baby that was long desired that took me from pillar to post), I was determined to have the baby and nurture him / her against all odds, then came  the challenge of caring for a pregnancy till term, cost of delivery and baby care, hard knocks of life!.

It is said that in prosperity our friends knows us but in adversity we know them, it was a true saying that played out in my life, I was practically abandoned by most of my friends to avoid sharing in my liability (as I declined their advise to terminate the pregnancy and move on), I took solace in God and His unfailing word.

Considering my unstable emotional state; my life and that of my baby was at high risk, however God intervened. Miraculously God made divine provisions for me and my baby through SDK and the wonderful friends I met on this blog and today the health challenge is no more and am blessed with a very healthy baby who is a very significant part of my life.

PRAISE GOD!

  26. What a beautiful story

What a coincidence that your mother-inlaw died and your fiancé also died of poisoning.
Was there any conclusive investigation into their cause of death.

I mean your mother-inlaw completely opposed your marriage to her son and all of a sudden dropped dead.
In your desperation to win your mother-inlaws heart, you got impregnated by another man , now your mother-inlaw suspected and threatened to tell the son, you killed her just so she will not expose you .
Unfortunately the son became suspicious during his moms burial and you poisoned him too.

Hahahahaha, somebody should better have this woman investigated.

C'mon I am just kidding , this is what what happens when you sit on your couch , eat junk and watch detective series all day, miraculously still stay slim and very beautiful.

    Anywhoo
*In a stern voice* Did you kill your Mother-inlaw and your fiance?
    Should we call the police?

    Hahahahaha hahahahaha hahahahaha
    Nice story Misses
    Congrats on your baby.

    Happy Sunday guys.

  47. It would have been nice to say what exactly you were diagnosed with. Nigerians never know what thy are suffering from they only know the symptoms. They never know what the medications they are prescribed for do. They just say they are taking "drugs". Just like the "infections" they say they treat, what exactly is it , what do the meds do to treat it. I cannot imagine being prescribed a drug, not knowing what ts for and what it does and just taking it. Illiteracy

    1. @anonymous...u don't ave to put blames on doctors.when God is at work, you should know that every other effort in ones life will be useless and worthless.untill god is done with his own action..as for the poster::hmm.u need not pray to God for anything.all u need now is praise cuz that's the solution to ur challenges.

      Remember that:

If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.A man can no more diminish God's glory by
refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out
the sun by scribbling the word 'darkness' on the
walls of his cell.#an Idealistman has spoken#
