  2. But Alh Buhari should not be as unforgiving and unforgetting like Baba Iyabo.
Why should he be disturbing this guy bcos something that happened almost 32 years ago.
Didn't he do the same thing to Alh Shehu Shagari?
Have Shagari even gone to court to seek redress?

His own is even worse bcos he did it against a democratically elected leader.

    2. Irene u too? Don't get me wrong, u are entitled ur views. But I would expect we analyse this development pragmatically without bias. Many are accusing the president for what the DSS is doing, makes me wonder if people understand that the DSS logistics does not in any way concern the president directly. He may be the C in C, but he doesn't meddle in the day to day affairs of our security or financial operatives.. and as such, shouldn't be blamed for anything. The DSS have their principals, and they obey and carry out his/their directives in accordance with their obligatory duties as defined. So I don't get why Buhari is called a witch hunter. I tire o

    3. @ sisi eko, I respect your opinion but, no offense, your argument is simply incredible. The head of the DSS is appointed by the President, and practically serves at his pleasure. If you honestly believe that Buhari, after appointing his townsman, Daura, to head the DSS, is not privy to the DSS recent onslaughts, then you might as well honestly believe that ridiculous proposition attributed to Jonathan that "stealing is not corruption"

    4. Buh the SSS clearly stated dey had search warrants.
Papa saying dere is à Difference btw him and His son doesnt hold water cos we all know how dese things work.dey are to search wherever dey think hé might have hidden stuff.

As long as dey come brandishing search warrants,no crime has bn committed.

What exactly were they looking for?
People need to give us the real explanation.
I heard from sources that this guy had hidden away information/videos to show APC and Jega's election malpractice/planning in Saudi Arabia stashed away somewhere.

Now they came out to the press to say he had weapons in his possession 3 days after his sack. Just 3 days? Duhhhhh. My uncle was a police chief and he didn't return his guns immediately he retired, these handover processes take time. Before they take inventory and all. Not to talk of a man who left the force forcefully and c'mon, the man was the leader, he must have patrol vehicles, bullet proof cars, riffles and magazines in his house(this is Nigeria, it's difficult to separate office from home here). How many lawyers don't have court processes at home at times, how many mechanics don't have spanners at home? If you fire a judge, im sure after 3 days, you will still see court property in his house which he was using before. There's no tailor's house you won't see materials or needles, even if she has a workshop. So, what is their motive? Someone is lying somewhere...

I read here on the blog comments that PEJ's CSO was assassinated by d former man himself so that he won't spill information.and GEJ's CSO was taken into custody to protect him. Now he has mysteriously died in custody. So how was he protected? Or did they infiltrate? Honestly, im beginning to believe this new govt is up to something bad. Will you blame me? Do they come out and clear the people? The highhandedness and monarchical style is getting too much. It's almost like a dictatorship, people are in the dark. I'm not saying they should divulge confidential information gotten through espionage but people are dying and disappearing mysteriously, we have to ask questions. This is a democracy. Underground things happen in other countries but when it becomes blatant, it gets messy.

Even if you support this government, ask yourself. Do you enjoy the way things are going now?
-Political assassination has returned to Nigeria.
-Tribalism in full swing(it has always been but this time, dog eating dog, everyone affected, even friends now distrust each other for tribe)
-I don't want to go into the economical implication and what is happening to our stock exchange.
-Bickering, mudslinging by politicians. Plots and counterplots in the senate.
-All ministeries at a standstill. How do we even account for all the money being spent now? Nothing is moving in Abuja. You can't get anything signed now.

Fear has taken over the country. You don't know the policy the govt will make tomorrow and whether you or your business will suffer from it. You don't know who will die next in the north(its been happening since but I recall the former president used to even come out to apologise for the killings even though he was doing nothing tangible, now this new one doesn't communicate, doesn't seem like he cares and does nothing too, same thing, different means)
Fear of who will be indicted next. It's funny how people think this is a good thing. Remember that for any probe, any indictment whether witch hunt or genuine, the country suffers. How? How do you think some of the wars in those African countries started? Just ask yourselves. You think even in the almighty America, they are no underhand deals in the govt? They are very wise and deal with it tactfully so as not to shake the polity. The more you put heads for beheading, the more the country boils. So many uncertainties now. No ministry is working. Who would want to invest in this country just yet? When the money is falling freely and your company may be banned tomorrow. Politics affects the economy. Investors hate a place where the government is not predictable. Tomorrow, your licence may be cancelled due to "illegality" or your company ransacked and searched and they say they're looking for "stolen things".
    These things send wrong signals.
This was the same thing Buhari did throughout his last regime till he was deposed. Chasing every ant, even those the law refused to sentence, Buhari ensured they were punished outside the lawcourt. He even sentenced people to die retroactively. An abomination in law. Guess what happened 1 year after he left. Even 2months. Same corruption. You can't purge the system and leave no alternative. Block the means of corruption, improve the economy, fight the culprits. The 1st two being more important than the 3rd. The way Fashola reformed LASU. God save us from civil war. Because the birds are coming home to roost...
