Bono And Omotola Campaign In Povertyissexist‏ -Photos

The #povertyissexist campaign got a major boost as one of its founding members Bono of the U2 band flew in to join in on the campaign and remix of the strong girl song.

The activities started with meetings with the civil society in company of ambassadors of the povertyissexist campaign which Omotola leads. In the meeting were stronggirl and powerhouse Waje and  Zimbabwean singer Selmor Mtukudzi .
Bono then went with the very large delegation to the studio where they were joined by Dbanj ,Bankyw, tanzania's Diamond platinumz and cobhams.
There was also a media meet where Bono, Omotola, Dbanj, waje, Selmor and diamond platinumz answered questions on the campaign moderated by One's Dr sipho.
A dinner reception was then held where Bono danced to music from Waje,Seyi shay,Dbanj and victoria kimani . The very well attended party had dignitaries from all works including MI, Dj jimmy Jatt, gbemi olateru- olagbegi ,tayo faniran of bba and CaptainE .
Omotola who has been working with One on the povertyissexist campaign then reminded everyone to sign the petition which now has over 2million signatures and join the movement to end poverty in Africa by empowering more women.
