Actor Laide Bakare Unveils Pet Project On Her 35th Birthday To Curb VVF



"Nollywood star actor Laide Bakare became a year older on 7th October which was few days ago. The actress unveiled her pet project The Laide Bakare Foundation to fight to scourge of VVF amongst girl child and also to encourage the girl child education.

The day marked a landmark in her career as she clocked 35. As part of the celebrations, the actress was treated to a cozy birthday party in far away New York City to usher in the new age."

    VVF is a serious scourge that needs attention.
    I got to know about VVF 4yrs back during my brief stay in kaduna.
    My heart breaks each time I remember those girls.
    I also watched a documentary on oprah about lil girls of 9-15 going through such trauma,and the kind doctor,Dr catherine hamlin that dedicated her life to helping them.
