It is time once again to Inspire Patriotism, Celebrate Role Models and Promote Unity. The annual youth event, We Are the Future of Our Nation (WATFON) is just days away and excitement is building as over 3000 secondary school students are eager to meet thought leaders from various fields: Business, Law, Entertainment, Activism, Politics, Education and Religion.
The program organizers, Edumark has announced that Dr Newton Jibunoh will chair the 10th edition of the program. The renowned Environmental Activist is popularly known for his Sahara Desert expeditions and fight against desert encroachment.
Other speakers that have been scheduled for the program include: Oluwemimo Ogunde SAN, Principal Counsel of The Latter House Chambers; Mr Tonye Cole, Managing Director, Sahara Oil; Mrs Abimbola Fashola, former First Lady of Lagos State; and Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, Chief Operating Officer of Supreme Education Foundation Schools.
The program provides students the rare opportunity to interact, ask questions and learn from these thought leaders.
WATFON 2016 is to hold on the 3rd of March in Lagos.
