      No it's not the same as the regular charcoal.
      Activated charcoal is used to detox the body due to its ability to attract and absorb toxins and poisons.

      It's not the normal one. This one is a tablet usually used to.combat poisoning. Its black in color. Sold in the Pharmacy stores. I hope this helps.
