    2. In a a place where something as food is expensive for them, you bother asking why she's wearing the same clothes??

Because you have clothes to go round each year doesn't mean she does. Food is her priority not clothes. She might have 3 clothes for all we know and within 2 weeks she is bound to repeat the clothes

  6. Starving kids yet billions of naira are donated by the FG, NGOs and philanthropists to the IDPs.
There must be massive corruption going on there and EFCC should investigate them.

Welldone Modupe, these are the kind of ladies i have tremendous respek for not the bitches that have absolutely nothing to offer humanity but kpekus

Also 2 weeks is too short 4 ds kind of transformation. Dy want us 2 believe dat emaciated child filled out wtin 2 weeks. Abeg we r not fools. All d same una well done.

    1. The person carrying the baby is probably the baby's mother. She's a IDP, not a model! That cloth might be the only one she has....

    2. Please donate clothes to her. You can see food is her priority and you are wondering why she's wearing same clothes..

Someone that is starving. Go to the north and see people wearing one clothes for 2 weeks. In the morning they wear, at night they wash..

Imagine the reason you gave for discrediting this good deed...

And yes with good food and supplement a child can bounce back as such.

    4. I am a Nutritionist and it is very possible. Please stop this ignorance and go educate yourself on CMAM. A child can having diarrhoea can die in 1 week. This child is not being fed with eba and soup, they are given proper nutrients and calculated calories exactly the amount they are supposed to get plus deficit.
Two weeks is enough for appreciable difference if you are doing the appropriate thing.
Children with malnutrition sometimes have oedema which gives them a false bloated look, once you start active treatment, they first lose weight and then start weight gaining. Please stop this ignorance.

  23. Good deed.. May God bless her

Those asking why the woman is wearing same clothes should pray not to be in a position where your only need will be food and not clothes..

Imagine people who couldn't eat, starving to death and you are wondering why she's wearing the same clothes?? Because cloth is what she needs?? Something as cheap as food she hasn't seen then it's clothes she should be worried about??

Someone times the way people reason make me doubt their thinking faculty.

For all we know, that lady might have just 5 clothes. And rotates them everyday. Go to the north and see this people wearing one clothes for 1 months. They so what they call wash and Wear. Wash in the night and Wear in the morning and you are bringing in theories to criticise something some one is doing..

    1. That might be her only outing / presentable clothes. And she has to keep it for when the press is coming.
Some people just like to talk nonsense and this is the same thing that makes our leaders not understand the suffering of the common man.
When people like them believes everyone should afford Petrol at 500 per litre. Same sick mentality. Seeing things from your own position.

  24. Bring another angle to discredit it but not the clothes, then I might just look into it

  28. I am sorry to say this - the kids are not the same.

    ReplyDelete
  29. oh my God! God bless you Modupe for this! this is so heart rending.....
for the stupid people that are saying the kid is not the same or that this is not possible for a malnourished child to transform into that within two weeks..please expose yourself to mosquito bites for one week! stop eating good food for one week! feed on rotten foods from the dustbin for one week! and you will know how it feels...eyin ti ori yin ti daru!

  30. That child is the same.... You will know from the shape of the head, the hair line, the ear shape and the vein in her head. Look well, good nutrition made her hair grow and it's possible with proper feeding not the carb n carb n more carb that we consume in Naija.
