  4. Heheheeh watch how they'd ask her to go and marry first.
I don't know why people see the need to put everything online. Hey my husband bought me new dross.
Hey my husband did this and that. Yes people will admire and like and say you're enjoying but you have no idea the number of people who will be rooting for that relationship to end.
Enjoy your marriage alone, no need to announce it. Let people see you and know that yes this one marry well and is enjoying. It's not until you post everything that will make the difference. Almost all the Celebs who expose their family life have had it rough.

    3. How will people "see" you and know you're enjoying it?

If you aren't living with them, how can you ever tell for real.

I just hate all these rules ofdo this, don't do this..let people live their lives...

How does she like it when she's told to go and marry? Same thing!!! People, married or single, need to be left alone to live their lives.

      These rules never helped anyone.

Btw, it is pure fallacy to think that because you are not flaunting your marriage, you are enjoying it!

      Doesn't follow at all

    4. Amaka, English is not that hard. The person or persons I'm speaking to understand. You obviously don't and there is no way I can help you with that.
I have a friend who is married in fact friends who are married. They do not have social media accounts and are very happy.
No one is saying don't post or share your joy but limit it. Do not go online and share every damn thing that happens in the privacy of your home.
Some women go as far as sharing the day they have sex, style, color of pant they wear and some other unnecessary things. It's also very interesting that it's mostly women that do these things and most of it is in a bid to make some other lady envious.
Yes people are free to do what they want but don't cry when they use the things yout share online against you.
Those people hailing the pictures will go behind to destroy it because they feel they have a right to enjoy what you're enjoying.

Lastly, I know a lady who used to be all about her marriage on the Internet. Always posting pictures and sharing even the tiniest details about herself and her husband. Every time she shares a story, guess who gets new followers? Yes, her husband.
Not her o but her husband and all new followers are always women. She had to stop the sharing.
Enjoy yourself how you want but let there be a limit biko.
Not sharing doesn't mean you're enjoying it either but at least you're suffering and smiling alone.
      Enough said!

    5. At doppelganger ganger yes.social media should not be for everything. Especially in our society. Birches are thirsty. People just think because they are posting from thier phones it's not that bad. That's like going to the market and shout everybody look at my husbands new hair cut, loom at my new bag, look at my new shoe, look at us. Its weird. I'm married. I post stuff but not that much about my hubby and family life self. I post when ther are milestones ie a friend comes to visit, a birthday , party etc. Otherwise it's just selfie really. Must everyone know your life? Haba

  10. Advicing on the ills of social meddia when you can't just keep off. Yimu. Wonder why she quit instagram? she can't keep up with the fake life via pictures.

  11. She's very right though.. I don't know how people live their life on social media, you'll see something like; First selfie of the year, first dab of the year and so on. Why do people seek validation on social media so much that most times, they end up being fake to meet up with the so called trends

  12. I can never be caught displaying some personal details on sm. Wonder the kind of attention people seek when showing the world some things that should be hidden especially on facebook.

    1. Lol, i learnt my lesson once when i started datjng my first boyfriend and was posting his pictures everywhere.... When we broke up, everyone knew and then the amebo questions started... Many of them were even mocking me, asking me questions like i don't see ur boo's picture on ur dp again, hope no problem.. Lol. since then ive learnt to keep my relationship very private, nobody knows if i am dating anyone or not

  13. I think 2017 is all about celebs advicing their fellow celebs and non celebs to keep their relationship away from SM..

    1. Thank you oh! My thoughts exactly. When they are single they advice like tommorow. Once they get hooked?? They can't even stick to their own advice. That's how Toke used to talk about unhappy married women until she got married and silently joined the band. I remember one episode on moments with Mo where she spoke about insecure married women bla bla. Little did we know....

That's how one babe used to tell me that couples should stay off social media and married friends should not avoid single friends. Hehehe. When this girl got married she did WORSE. Trust me nau, I washed her with bleach and omo the day she tried that nonsense with me. No be say the guy even make sense 😏

  18. I love her advice..you can hate the messenger and not the message..there is an OAP that put a very annoying picture with her hubby in bed who is popular as well..which i feel was very unnecessary..I feel she and her husband are trying too hard to show themselves...well said Halima!! well said..

  19. As for me Am ok with people flaunting their love lives, love messages on social media cos because I don't know what goes on behind closed doors I don't believe in all I see. Most times those flaunting most of their loved lives are thrones in dysfunctional relationships.

  25. Please STOP telling people to stop putting their lives on social media. When a child puts his hand in fire then gets burnt, he won't do it again. I don't care. If u like post urself banging your husband, na u sabi. These people were created to entertain people like us. One by one they will bite the dust but not before i am thoroughly entertained.hehehehe

  26. I disagree on the 4th comment cos the loved one can kill the love out of callousness and disregard for the other's feeling.
