13 years ago, I started my business from my living room in Amore, Ikeja. I was raised by a single mother who struggled to provide for her five children, and life was far from easy. But God had already written a different story for me.
I remember when people laughed at me and asked why I didn’t have a store. Little did they know that I was quietly building an empire.
From that same living room, God helped me build properties and eventually move into my first store at 50 Allen Avenue. Then came Abuja, Lekki and Ikeja, and many more opportunities.
Today, I own the spaces I once prayed for.
I got tired of moving from one rented apartment to another, so I made a promise to myself: one day, I would own every space my business occupied. I chose sacrifice over luxury. I said no to designer labels and invested in my dreams instead.
There were tears, disappointments, sleepless nights, and moments I wanted to give up. Recently, I have also battled health and hormonal challenges, but God has remained faithful through it all.
Today, I am a proud wife, a proud mother, and a grateful woman. My husband, my children, and my mother are proud of the woman I have become.
The little girl from Amore, Ikeja, dared to dream, and by God’s grace, she is still writing her story. Where I am today is only a glimpse of where God is taking me.
Birthday in a few hours, and my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude.
